Welcome to Pension Spreewald Lächeln—a very special place in the heart of the Spreewald.
My name is Lisa; I was born in Lübben and have deep roots here. The closeness to nature, the warm sense of community, and the tranquility of this region mean a great deal to me—and that’s exactly the feeling I’d like to share with you.
Inspired by my daughter Tara, who was born with Down syndrome, I’ve turned my passion project into a reality. Her beaming smile symbolises what awaits you here: warmth, openness, and genuine connections. It’s important to me to offer a place where everyone feels welcome—naturally and without distinction.
With lots of love and support from my family, I’ve transformed a former stable into a little oasis in the countryside. Here you can unwind, recharge your batteries, and simply be yourself.
Part of this oasis is our “4 Seasons” apartment: Spanning approximately 64 m², you’ll find a wheelchair-accessible and thoughtfully designed space for 2 people, which can be expanded to accommodate up to 4 guests with a sleeper sofa—ideal for families, seniors, and guests with limited mobility. Wide doors, lowered light switches and raised electrical sockets, a wheelchair-accessible kitchenette, and a barrier-free bathroom with a floor-level shower ensure maximum comfort and independence. A built-in closet with a lowerable clothes rod in the hallway also makes your stay more convenient.
The apartment combines functionality with a cosy atmosphere and is a place where you can feel at home in every season—for an inclusive, relaxed, and safe getaway in the Spreewald.
We’re really looking forward to welcoming you here—for special moments and a feeling of home.
Yours, Tara & Lisa
