The lagoon, which has direct access to the Baltic Sea, is a perfect starting point for all kinds of water sports. The Lagoon City offers 380 boat berths, a boat fuelling station, a boat ramp, and parking areas for boat caravans. If you don’t want to bring your own boat, you can use our rental service located in the harbour on the lagoon. Motorboats, jet skis, and canoes are available for rent here. Boats that don’t require a licence are also available.
Aside from its maritime location, the spacious, well-maintained facility has much more to offer. For sports activities, there’s a beach volleyball court, a basketball hoop, and a small football field. A children’s playground is also available here. In the lagoon town, there’s a bistro where you can also enjoy breakfast. If you’d prefer to prepare your own meals, you can use the bread roll delivery service on the premises. The barbecue area for your own cookouts rounds out the amenities.

The Seaside Resort of Ueckermünde
The seaside resort of Ueckermünde is a small town over 750 years old that has been beautifully restored. The town’s central square is the market square. Concerts are frequently held here in the summer. The market square is also the starting point for various guided tours of the town. Many restaurants dot the townscape. Otherwise, the usual range of services found in a German seaside resort is available within walking distance—from banks to pharmacies, from supermarkets to boutiques. Particular highlights include the town cinema and the pier of the Oderhaff Reederei Peters, which offers not only tours of the lagoon but also excursions to Usedom and Poland. The zoo in Ueckermünde is always worth a visit. A special highlight is our 3D black-light indoor mini-golf course in the old train station in Ueckermünde. It’s the perfect change of pace after—or instead of—a day at the beach.
