Our Florida villa is in a small gated community called The Abbey in the premium Westhaven development, Davenport, Florida. It is very peaceful & away from main roads with its own lake. Champions gate is just two minutes drive away where you will find a Public supermarket, pharmacy, post office, 5 restaurants, service station and shops. This is also where you join the main interstate highway 4 to get you to the parks and attractions. Disney World 10 minutes, Sea World 20 minutes, Universal 30 minutes, beach 50 minutes, Downtown Orlando 40 minutes, highway 192 and Kissimee 15 minutes. At champions gate there is one of the top golf courses in the area designed by Greg Norman and if you like a spot of fishing there are lakes and ponds locally that may be fished. Also the property is managed by a local company who are always on hand to help enjoy your stay.

Golf: Golfers paradise we have over 50 championship courses within one hours drive of our home with the closest being at Champions Gate 2 minutes away. Here you will find 2 championship courses designed by Greg Norman.
Also located here is the David Leadbetter Dream Academy. Our managing agents will be able to help you with your golf arrangements and they have also put together some golfing packages which may be of interest to you.
At certain times of year we are able to accommodate up to 22 people in two homes next door to each other or up to 10 in our home at The Abbey.

About Owner
We both Live and work in Dorset England running two restaurants and an events company. I teach Game/Fly fishing to all who wish to participate and Anita makes amazing cakes in our spare time. We try to go to Florida at least once per year which is never enough. We love it because there is always something new to do every year and you can get off the beaten track to see the Florida countryside/outback/bush so easily, the shopping and eating places are never ending and the parks are just magical for everyone. I'm dreaming about it just writing this.

Why Owner chose West Haven
The area we chose was one of those that was very close to the Disney parks but not in an over developed tourist area. It is extremely well positioned for a trip to anywhere in Florida using US 27 North/South or I4 Interstate East/West. I am a keen Sport fisherman and we are surrounded by inland waterways and lakes and also only an hour from the big game fishing on the coast. It is also perfect for golfers with Champions gate 2 minutes away with two Golf courses designed by Greg Norman and a David Lead better Dream Academy, wit another 60 championship courses within easy reach by car. When you sit in the garden you would think that you are a million miles from anywhere although just 5 minutes away there are restaurants and shops for all to enjoy.
