Welcome to the completely newly furnished (2026) “Friesensonne” duplex apartment. Your retreat at the “Friesenfranz” on Wangerooge, combining modern comfort with Nordic charm. As the apartment’s name suggests, you can enjoy relaxing hours in the sun on the balcony. Just a short walk, and you’re at the fine-sand beach!

A spacious 80 m² of living area spread over two floors (attic + ground floor) offers a sense of openness and plenty of space for your holiday with up to four people. The bright living area, featuring a sofa nook and a modern smart TV, invites you to relax after a walk on the beach. The bedroom in the attic is also equipped with a TV—perfect for cosy TV time from the comfort of your bed. You can spend long, convivial evenings at the cosy wooden table, perhaps enjoying a hearty meal together.

Snacks for your outing and delicious meals can be prepared quickly and easily in the high-quality, custom-built kitchen with its coordinated design. It features, among other things, a large refrigerator and brand-name appliances. You can enjoy your first morning coffee in peace at the kitchen counter with a beautiful view of the surroundings. Choose between a Nespresso or a drip coffee maker. For tea lovers, a tea warmer is available to ensure your tea stays hot for as long as you like.

When the sun sets on Wangerooge, two separate bedrooms promise a restful night’s sleep. The bedroom in the attic is furnished with a comfortable double bed, while two single beds await you in the loft. Spacious, custom-built closets provide plenty of space for your holiday wardrobe.

The elegant bathroom with natural light and a walk-in shower invites you to freshen up after a day at the beach, while the apartment’s own sauna offers relaxation with soothing warmth.

The property is located in a central spot close to the beach—in about a 5-minute walk, you’ll reach Zedeliusstraße, where you’ll find small shops for daily necessities, the Kruse island bakery, as well as cafés and restaurants. More specifically, the house marks the western end of Friesenstraße and is thus nestled in the dune landscape, offering absolute tranquility—yet the island’s highlights are just a short, quick walk away.

Zedeliusstraße—Wangerooge’s “main promenade”—leads you directly to the boardwalk and the white sandy beach. Wide sandy areas for sunbathing, numerous beach chairs, and a wide range of sports activities guarantee the perfect beach experience for families, couples, and solo travellers. Along the promenade, you can comfortably round out your day at the beach in cafés and restaurants overlooking the North Sea.

At “Friesenfranz,” we offer three holiday apartments for two to four people. Each holiday apartment features a balcony or terrace, modern Smart TVs, its own washing machine, and a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, oven, Nespresso machine, drip coffee maker, and much more. Custom-made furniture, elegant bathrooms with natural light, and a private sauna (Apartments 1 and 3) round out the amenities.

Just about 5 minutes away from the complex, you’ll find the laundromat, where you can use coin-operated washing machines and dryers. You can also reach the highly recommended “Eden” bike and handcart rental in just a few minutes. At our “Friesenfranz,” you’ll enjoy a thoroughly relaxing stay on Wangerooge!
