San Juan Suites - High Seas - Waterview! In the Heart of Friday Harbor.

High Seas is the ideal location for in town convenience! This waterview, upstairs condominium is as good as it gets on the island.

High Seas is a beautifully furnished one (1) bedroom water view condo complete with luxurious decor throughout with interior updates in 2020. This charming suite offers a fully equipped kitchen beautifully finished with granite counter tops and stainless appliances. This suite is equipped with a standard, drip-style coffee maker. Enjoy meals at the breakfast bar built for 2 or gather around the beautiful dining table for 4. It offers a balcony with water views and a propane BBQ. The bedroom is furnished with a King size bed and has an adjoining continental full bathroom. The electric Aerobed can be comfortably utilized in the living room.

The living space is equipped with a DVD player, HDTV, satellite TV, and a view of the Friday Harbor Ferry Dock.

With comfortable accommodations for 4, this suite is perfect for those traveling with or without a car (off street parking available. One car per unit) and that are looking to enjoy the town of Friday Harbor’s dining and shopping, while being centrally located to enjoy the beautiful nature San Juan Island offers!

The block surrounding the San Juan Suites offers many delicious restaurants, coffee shops, boutiques, ice-cream shops and art galleries, all within walking distance. On Saturday mornings the local San Juan Island Farmer's Market is a 1-minute walk from the San Juan Suites!

Nice place & very convenient access. As others have stated a bit noisy but its the price you pay to be centrally located. The manager was VERY friendly & communicative. Only negative I had was the air conditioning wasn't working but we were supplied fans very quickly

A Perfect Setting

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: If you are looking for a true downtown experience in Friday Harbor, this is your place. The deck literally looks over the harbor, where the ferries come in. The condo is incredibly roomy and fully stocked with all amenties. We were there over a weekend, so it was bustling and full of activity. There was music surrounding us both Friday and Saturday night, which we enjoyed. If you are looking for peace and quiet, this is not it. The Rumor Mill is an excellent restaurant right across the street with live music. This is a convenient location filled with lots of people watching, ferry watching and fun. You won't be disappointed and the price is amazing!

This accommodation is located right next to the island's harbor. From the living room window, you can see ferries coming and going, as well as the reflection of blue skies and white clouds on the sea. It's within walking distance to nearby attractions like the whale museum, the harbor, and a supermarket. There are also a variety of restaurants with different cuisines right next to the hotel.The room is spacious and bright, with well-equipped amenities. The decor is cozy and clean. A special shout-out for providing two luggage racks—it was so thoughtful! We had two suitcases and could open both on the racks, so we didn’t have to put one on the floor.

There's an ice cream shop right next door and I could just walk down to the dock with my paddleboard for an early morning paddle. The doors and windows keep most of the noise and people generally don't stay out too late. The restaurant downstairs had piano music was audible enough that I wore earplugs to go to sleep since I'm a light sleeper and we go to sleep early. But, it didn't bother my wife at all.

Great Location

My family and I had a great experience staying at High Seas for 6 nights. The location is very convenient - only a short walk to restaurants, shops and the beautiful harbor. The condo is extremely cozy, spacious and nicely updated with a fantastic view. Some tips to consider: the air mattress is not comfortable (it appears to have a slow leak). A pull-out couch/sectional or futon would be a better option. The carpet could use a deep clean or perhaps it's time to get it replaced. The chairs, couch and bed were comfy and tasteful. This is our third time staying at High Seas and we have also stayed at Valley Farm and Northwest Passage several times. This is our absolute favorite and most convenient location and we'll stay here again and again...

The kitchen has necessities to cook ( we did not) with full size fridge. Not there are not many slices, oils, stables ( aluminum foil, stretch wrap, etc) there. They did supplly coffee which was nice. There is a grill on the tiny deck that we did not use. You can easily walk tge downtown area and there is a cute farmers market ( mostly crafts) on Saturdays. We were there early June and things close down by 8 or earlier. The parking spots are secure and right behind the building which is very nice!
