The Il Rifugio holiday home is located in the small, traditional Ligurian mountain village of Pantasina. Anyone seeking peace and relaxation and wanting to experience a piece of authentic Liguria will find happiness here.

This detached house was recently modernised with great care and good taste, resulting in a spacious and light-filled home. You’ll find plenty of space and quiet corners across two floors.

From the street, a few steps lead directly into a very spacious, bright living room (approx. 40 square metres), furnished with a comfortable sofa, armchairs, bookshelves, and a fireplace—all incredibly cosy and comfortable.

Since the owners live in the house themselves, you’ll feel right at home immediately. The atmosphere here is truly unique. From the living room, you’ll enter a large kitchen with a spacious dining table that seats everyone comfortably. The kitchen is equipped with a gas stove, dishwasher, coffee maker, and a refrigerator with a freezer compartment.

Adjacent to the kitchen and living room is a beautiful terrace entwined with fragrant climbing plants. The ocean view is breathtaking; on a clear winter day, you can even see Corsica! Having breakfast here or sipping a glass of wine on a balmy summer evening is an unforgettable experience.

On the lower level of the house are two bedrooms, each with its own bathroom featuring a shower or bathtub (ensuite). Doors from the bedrooms lead out to the beautiful garden. The owners have created a little paradise with Mediterranean plants, vine-covered pergolas, and a small vegetable garden. There is also a barbecue area with a charcoal grill. The house also includes a small private parking area.

During the colder months, the gas heating system provides cosy warmth, and the wood-burning fireplace adds to the cosy atmosphere. You can also spend a wonderful Christmas or New Year’s Eve at the Rifugio. It’s no coincidence that the first tourists chose to spend their holidays on the Riviera in winter rather than in summer. The mild climate, lush vegetation, and low rainfall make it easy to forget the cold weather of Northern Europe.
Il Rifugio: a refuge, as the name suggests, is a special place. The owners, who created this retreat in search of peace and security, are happy to share it with other like-minded guests.
