In a former stone salting house, this 90 m² two-story gîte also features a mezzanine and a 13 m² terrace with one of the region’s most beautiful views (woods, forests, mountains, valleys, southwest exposure), set in a tiny, secluded hamlet at 1,000 meters altitude.
Two bedrooms are on the ground floor: a master bedroom with a 160 cm bed and separate toilet, and a children’s room with three 90 cm beds. Upstairs, you’ll find a living area with lounge, dining room, kitchen, and a bathroom with walk-in shower and toilet.
Enjoy peace, quiet, and natural beauty—perfect for a writer’s or artist’s retreat. Parking is available for cars and motorcycles.
Numerous hiking and mountain biking trails are nearby. You can swim at La Chaise-Dieu lake, go canoeing, fishing, or swim in the Allier river, and discover a wealth of cultural heritage (Romanesque churches, abbeys, castles, and more).
Quality restaurants are close by.
