The studio is located at 32 Kasztelańska Street in Kraków. Thanks to its location, it offers quick access to many of the city’s attractions. The historic city park, considered Europe’s largest urban meadow—Błonia Krakowskie—is just a 10-minute walk from the building. The National Museum, with its rich collections of art not only from Poland and Europe but also from beyond Europe, is just 2 km from the studio. Wawel Royal Castle, the historic residence of the kings of Poland and one of the city’s most important landmarks, is only an 8-minute drive away. It houses a museum featuring a variety of permanent exhibitions. The Main Market Square in the Old Town is less than 5 km away. The area features many places worth visiting, including St. Mary’s Basilica and its main attraction—the Altar of Veit Stoss, the largest Gothic altar in Europe and one of the most important works of art of the era. In the Market Square, you’ll also find the Town Hall Tower, the only remnant of the Gothic town hall (which has since been demolished), and the Cloth Hall—a historic building in the center of the Market Square, a symbol of the city’s commerce, culture, and Renaissance architecture. Kazimierz, known for its rich Jewish culture, is located a similar distance away; to reach the Old Synagogue there, one of the oldest structures of its kind, you’ll need to walk a little over 4 km.
