This listing combines the two apartments (Reiherbachtal and Klingetal) on the ground floor of our holiday home, which can accommodate up to 6 people. The two apartments are connected via a common hallway.

The Reiherbachtal apartment accommodates up to 4 people and features a bedroom with a large box-spring bed for 2 people (1.6 x 2.2 m), an open kitchen, and a living room with a sleeper sofa (1.4 x 2 m). It also features a balcony and a bathroom with a shower. The apartment is wheelchair accessible.

The smaller Klingetal apartment, for 2 people, consists of a combined living and sleeping area with a double bed (1.4 x 2 m) and a kitchen, plus a balcony, a shower room, and a toilet.

Your accommodation is located on the ground floor of a historic, listed half-timbered house with modern interior furnishings and large, south-facing French doors that lead to a sheltered balcony in each apartment.

You’ll have a direct view of the lake and the forest of the Kellerwald National Park.

The historic farmhouse underwent a complete renovation in 2024–25 using historical materials and traditional craftsmanship.
For example, the walls were finished in a breathable manner using traditional clay and lime plaster. Inside the house, sections of the historic exposed half-timbering have been revealed, allowing you to experience the house’s fascinating history.
Underfloor heating, powered by a heat pump connected to a photovoltaic system, ensures cosy warmth.

You can store your bicycles safely and securely in the outbuilding, where e-bikes can also be charged.

The communal garden features a barbecue area with a fire pit.

Many hiking trails through the ancient beech forests of the national park start right at our doorstep and lead to the lake.
Cycling enthusiasts will find a well-developed network of bike paths.
In 2025, several spectacular green trails for mountain bikes were built right on the edge of the village.
