A little closer is Wolnica Square in Kazimierz, known for its historic buildings, such as the Kazimierz Town Hall, which also houses the Ethnographic Museum, boasting the largest ethnographic collection in Poland. The Divine Mercy Sanctuary in Łagiewniki, which attracts millions of pilgrims, is just a 10-minute drive away. The Shrine of St. John Paul II is a similar distance away—a modern church at the heart of which lies the Chapel of Relics, where the pope’s blood is kept. Not far from the building, a 10-minute drive away, lies Zakrzówek—a magical spot in Kraków offering plenty of outdoor attractions. Here, you can stroll through the greenery, go for a bike ride, or head to the reservoir. Another interesting spot worth visiting is Twardowski’s Rocks, which offer not only relaxation but also opportunities for rock climbing. Their name is linked to the legend of Master Twardowski, who is said to have contributed to the formation of the rocks through his failed alchemical experiments. Twardowski’s Cave, open to tourists, is also located here—one of the longest caves in the Kraków-Częstochowa Upland. The Main Market Square is less than a 20-minute drive from the Apartment.
