Pets are allowed on request and for an extra fee.
You can walk to the "Cuxhavener Küstenheiden" nature reserve, home to Heck cattle, wild horses, and Koniks, in about 10 minutes. In the other direction, you can also reach the green beach of Berensch and the North Sea through the nature reserve.
