The Krasthaus - vacation home in southern Styria

Welcome to the Krasthaus! Tradition meets modernity. Our little gem is located near the Slovenian border, at the foot of the Remschnigg-Alm and thus at the start of the South Styrian Wine Route. The old Ziegler-Jogl House has been lovingly renovated and furnished with products from local businesses. During the renovation, care was taken to preserve the old wooden beams that run throughout the entire house. These give today’s Krasthaus a unique atmosphere—where tradition meets modernity. When furnishing the house, we made a point of giving preference to local businesses. You’ll sleep on air-core mattresses from a local mattress manufacturer, and the bedroom furniture and spiral staircase were lovingly crafted by regional carpenters. Care was taken to ensure that all wooden parts of the house are oiled. The outdoor seating area was crafted from local woods by a South Styrian chairmaker. – Enjoy the regional charm of southern Styria in our home. The holiday home features one bedroom on the ground floor and one bedroom in the attic, which you can reach via a narrow wooden spiral staircase. Breakfast can be ordered from the local bakery and delivered upon request. A coffee capsule machine and an electric kettle are provided. Note: A final cleaning fee for pets is charged separately (EUR 30.00 per pet per stay). Experience the Krasthaus.
