Die Umgebung ist sehr ruhig. Ideal für Menschen aus der Stadt. Du wachst mit Vogelgezwitscher auf! Es ist die begehrteste Wohnlage in Völkermarkt. Direkt am Drau Stausee unweit vom Klopeinersee. Unter unserem Haus ist das bekannte Rudersportzentrum und die Hafenrast, wo Du ein Boot mieten kannst. Du kannst den Fluss entlang oder ums Kreuzbergl spazieren, angeln, Rad fahren mit den 3 gratis E-Bikes z. B. Zu einen der 7 Seen in Unterkärnten.
Wenn Du Unterhaltung suchst gibt es täglich Programm am Klopeinersee. Vom Feuerwerk bis zur Wasser-Lasershow am Donnerstag und Sonntag, Tanz Abende und vieles mehr.

Im Zentrum, neben der Post, gibt es 2 Italienische Pizzerien, Don Carlo wurde schon mehrfach als beliebteste Pizzeria Kärntens gewählt, sehr zu empfehlen. Auch im Primavera am Klopeinersee in der Seepromenade kannst Du sehr gut italienisch essen.
Den Wochenmarkt mit regionalen Produkten von unseren Bauern gibt es am Mittwoch und Freitag Vormittag am Hauptplatz.
