Arrive and take a deep breath.
**FREE BED LINEN & TOWELS, NO ADDITIONAL FEES**
Haus Luis welcomes you with everything that makes for a great holiday: space, light, and the feeling of being right at home. Spread across approximately 115 m² of living space are three bedrooms with a total of six full-size sleeping spots—ideal for a family, two couples travelling together, or grandparents joining the trip. Bedding and towels are provided, the beds are made hotel-style, and blackout blinds ensure a restful sleep after long days at the North Sea. Two full bathrooms with showers—one of which features a sauna and a whirlpool tub—mean no waiting in line in the morning, even when the house is fully occupied.
The heart of the home: living, cooking, and spending time together.
The open living-dining area connects to a fully equipped kitchen with an induction cooktop, dishwasher, large refrigerator, and coffee maker—everything you need for cosy evenings. The large dining table is perfect for breakfast together, and the sofa is ideal for a film night when the North Sea wind is blowing outside—there’s a smart TV in the living room as well as in each of the three bedrooms.
Wellness included: your own Finnish sauna.
What sets Haus Luis apart from many other holiday homes: its own wellness area with a Finnish sauna for up to 4 people and a large whirlpool tub with massage jets—both in the same bathroom. After a day by the water, a bike ride, or a walk on the beach in the breeze, first into the sauna, then off to the bubbling hot tub: warmth, peace, and relaxation. No need for a wellness hotel—the spa is all yours for the duration of your stay.
Outdoor living: covered terrace, grill, and garden.
The covered terrace is perfect for long evenings—and best of all: it works even when the North Sea sky is in a showery mood. Grill, eat outside, and watch the rain instead of running from it. There’s a gas grill, patio furniture, lounge chairs, and lanterns for the twilight hour. While the steaks sizzle on the grill, the kids have their own adventure area in the fenced-in garden—complete with a climbing net and a horizontal bar. Here, they climb and play until it gets dark.
A family holiday without compromises.
Haus Luis is designed from the ground up with families in mind: high chair, travel cot, stair gate, children’s tableware, step stool, night light, and a well-stocked toy box complete with board games and party games for rainy days. You pack up the kids—we’ve taken care of the rest.
Dogs are welcome.
Here, the whole family travels together—even those on four legs. Up to two dogs are expressly allowed at Haus Luis. The private, fenced-in garden is the perfect space for both two- and four-legged friends: the kids can romp on the climbing net, and the dogs have a safe place to run around. And best of all: Just 10 kilometres away on the North Sea coast, there are vast dog-friendly beaches where your four-legged friends can run through the wind and waves to their heart’s content.
The location: Lake Wangermeer right outside the door, the North Sea just beyond.
Lake Wangermeer in Hohenkirchen is only 50 metres away as the crow flies —a recreational lake spanning about 100 hectares with a designated swimming beach, a 14-hectare circular island, and a 325-meter-long wooden bridge for walkers and cyclists. Right on the lake: the “Nordsee-Spielstadt” amusement park with a roller coaster, chain carousel, and ship swing, plus pedal boat and SUP rentals, sailing, beach volleyball, and table tennis. It’s only about 10 kilometres to the North Sea coast (Schillig/Horumersiel), and the historic castle town of Jever is about 15 minutes away.
