The Accommodation
Maison 1901 is a boutique guesthouse with authentic character. Here, the charm of a historic building meets modern comfort—deliberately unique rather than boringly generic. We purchased the city villa, built in 1901, in 2025 and have since been transforming it with great attention to detail into a special place for anyone looking for more than just standard accommodation.

In this historic setting, you’ll move into a stylish, fully equipped two-room apartment that offers you maximum independence. The stately rooms exude the authentic atmosphere of a historic building, featuring wonderfully high ceilings, beautiful stucco, large windows, and original hardwood floors, all combined with our distinctive design concept. The apartment accommodates up to 4 guests and features a cosy bedroom, a separate living room (with a comfortable sleeper sofa), a private, fully equipped kitchen, and your own private bathroom.

The shared kitchen and the large communal dining room are, of course, also at your disposal.

Laundry: A washing machine and dryer are available free of charge in the basement.

Additional Services: A professional room cleaning service (including bathroom and beds) can be booked on an as-needed basis. Cleaning supplies such as a vacuum cleaner and mop are otherwise available to you at any time free of charge.

The house offers the perfect combination of a quiet location in beautiful St. Arnual and quick access to the city centre. Public transport, e-scooter zones, and a taxi rank are right outside the door. Shopping options (supermarket, pharmacy, petrol station) are just a few minutes away.

Tech & Science: About 10 min. to HTW Saar | about 14 min. to the University of Saarbrücken campus (including DFKI, CISPA, and Science Park)

24/7 Check-In: Completely flexible and independent via a digital code (smart lock) at the house. You’ll receive a traditional key for your room.

Since we’re still finishing up the upper floors of the villa, we’re offering this fully completed ground-floor room at a special introductory price. Of course, there’s no construction taking place on your floor—your peace and privacy are absolutely guaranteed.
