If you enjoy spending your holiday in the countryside, love nature, and want to explore the Baltic Sea coast on two wheels, the Rudi holiday apartment at the Seemann Guesthouse is the ideal starting point. The guesthouse is quietly situated in Waabs on the beautiful Schwansen Peninsula—just about three kilometres from the Baltic Sea and nestled in a region whose coastal trails, small villages, and varied landscapes invite you to take long bike rides. Whether heading towards Eckernförde or Kappeln—numerous routes begin practically right outside the front door.
The newly renovated ground-floor apartment offers approximately 50 m² of space for up to four people and combines modern living comfort with a relaxed atmosphere. The combined living and sleeping area features a cosy double bed and a sitting area with a flat-screen TV. The separate bedroom has a single bed; if needed, an additional single bed can be set up here for a fourth person.
The fully equipped kitchen, featuring a dishwasher, oven, drip coffee maker, electric kettle, and many other kitchen appliances, invites you to tailor your holiday exactly to your liking. The modern bathroom with a walk-in shower provides additional comfort.
After an eventful day at the Baltic Sea or a long bike ride, the heart of the guesthouse awaits you: the approximately 4,500 m² garden, lovingly landscaped. Amid old trees, blooming flower beds, two idyllic ponds, and numerous cosy seating areas, everyone will find their own favourite spot. Several terraces, a covered seating area, a gazebo, umbrellas, a fire pit, and a herb garden open to guests all invite you to enjoy your holiday surrounded by nature.
Cyclists in particular appreciate the guesthouse’s well-thought-out amenities. Bicycles can be stored safely and securely, and charging stations are available for e-bikes. Those who want to go on a spontaneous tour can also use free rental bikes and explore the charming coastal landscape directly from the guesthouse.
Families also feel right at home on the spacious property. For children, there’s a swing set, a trampoline, a football field with a goal, and a bocce court—plus plenty of space to run around.
Guests enjoy gathering in the cosy common room after their outings. Here you’ll find board games, a small collection of books, numerous suggestions for day trips, and informational materials about the region. Perhaps this will lead to a nice conversation about particularly beautiful bike routes, hidden favourite spots, or personal recommendations for your next day of holiday. A drink refrigerator is also available.
A shared utility room with a washing machine, dryer, drying racks, an ironing board, and cushions for the patio furniture provides extra comfort, even during longer stays.
Free Wi-Fi and a parking space right next to the house are, of course, available. For families, a cot and high chair can be provided free of charge. Dogs are also welcome—up to two four-legged friends may stay in the Rudi holiday rental.
