The Barthel holiday rental stands out for its convenient location near the city centre at the foot of the Gipsberg: a bakery, a discount store, and the Heilborn natural outdoor pool are all just a few minutes’ walk away.
The pedestrian zone in city centre Merzig, with its shops, cafés, and restaurants, is 1 km (a 12-minute walk) away, and the main train station is just under 2 km away.A bus stop is located in the immediate vicinity.
A free, private parking space for one car is available right in front of the house; bicycles can be stored in the covered, lockable entryway, which you access via four steps.

Our approximately 90-square-meter holiday apartment spans two floors.
On the ground floor of the house, you’ll find the kitchen, a living-dining room with a “ Sat.TV,” and a guest bathroom with a sink. Free Wi-Fi is available in the house.

From the entryway, which features a coat rack and shoe rack, and from the kitchen, you have direct access to the patio and the garden. The patio is furnished with a bench, a garden table, and two garden chairs.
The fully enclosed garden with a play area is ideal for families with children.

The house underwent extensive renovations in 1996 and 2025: it features soundproof windows that can be darkened with roller shutters.
The holiday rental has central gas heating; the radiators in each room can be regulated via radiator valves.
The flooring is allergy-friendly, consisting of hardwood, tile, and PVC.
There is a school in the area. At the beginning and end of the school day, increased traffic on the street is to be expected.
