Only 11 miles to Yosemite's South entrance and only 5 miles to Bass Lake where you can enjoy year round fishing. Continue up road 632 and see the 4th largest tree in the world at Nelder Grove. Perfect for the whole family! The Anglers Rest caters to all fishermen beginning to advanced, 6 fishing poles and bait and tackle are provided for your use at one of the many surrounding lakes or streams!

Yosemite trip

Very nice property. Was neat and clean and included all amenities. Was our first time staying at a VRBO and was a surprisingly pleasant experience. Looking forward to our next vacation. Thank you so much.

What a perfect little spot!

This is a very cozy cabin with comfy beds and everything you could need in the kitchen. Even seasonings and olive oil! Super close to food and shops, but still feels remote. Very close to Yosemite!

Really cute and cozy cabin. It was perfect for our trip to Yosemite. It’s 20 minutes to the gate of Yosemite, hour and half from Yosemite valley and about 10 minutes from town. There is anything you could think of in the kitchen, a pack n play for infants, games, and extra blankets. We woke up to a ton of snow and it was magical. We really enjoyed hanging out around the fireplace while drinking coffee.

Outstanding property and location, highly recommended

This is the best VRBO we stayed at. The house is fully equipped with washer and dryer, dishwasher, super comfortable beds, barbecue, excellent internet, Netflix and a perfectly stocked kitchen. The location is perfect for a winter stay because you will not remain isolated during snowstorm, as it can happen closer to or inside the Yosemite Park. No crowds around, but proximity to shops on Oakhurst. The only drawback: hard to leave such a welcoming house to go out on adventures. Highly recommended.

Awesome place!

This place was perfect for our trip to Yosemite. The house itself was clean and comfortable. The location was just outside of town and about an hour and 20 minutes away from Yosemite Valley. We would stay here again.

Very clean, spacious & well equipped home !

We loved staying here for 4 nights from 7 till 11 May. Spotlessly clean home with all the amenities you can wish for & TV in every room. We particularly enjoyed; the spacious parking, a brand new Weber BBQ, new kitchen appliances (as far as we could tell), lovely bedroom with ensuite bathroom & terrace (& TV), 55" TV & sound system + gas fireplace in living room (May mornings can be bit chilly), the washer & drier with detergents and a very quiet neighbourhood . Only improvement we can think of is adding an outside sitting area with some easy chairs to relax after a long day or drink coffee in the morning (there is a perfect spot for this at the front of the home). Yosemite, Wawona & Glacier Point are easily accessible from this fantastic home - it took us exactly 1h30 to get to the Valley Visitor Centre. Yosemite is absolutely stunning, but we recommend taking the time to also visit the Sugar Pine Railroad & the Pioneer Village + walking around the Meadow in Wavona. If we come back to this area, we would not hesitate staying here again !

PERFECT, PERFECT, PERFECT

This place is perfect in every way! Everything feels brand new & so......CLEAN!!!!! Well taken care of & every detail carefully considered for your comfortable stay. Netflix & X-box Live for entertainment. A true home away from home. Thank you for providing such a clean, convenient, beautiful, comfortable place to stay. Bonus: close to town, Nelder Grove, & Yosemite :) -happy campers.

Perfect for our small family getaway

My wife and I, along with our 1-year old, stayed here for 4 nights over the Labor Day holiday weekend. The cabin was in great shape and had all of the amenities we needed, and was conveniently located close to town and near the south Yosemite entrance. The people that manage the property kindly provided recommendations for things to do in the area and even shipped back to us a few of the baby items we left behind. We enjoyed our trip and would definitely stay here again!

Beyond Our Expectations

We rented this for a last minute getaway for our group of 8. We all fit very well with the extra sleeping beds provided. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. The location is really great to Yosemite entrance and the Lake. We only wished we had more time. We would definitely rent this cabin again.

Awesome Cabin

My husband and our 2 boys just spend 6 days in yosemite and stayed at this cabin. First of all there is nothing negative to say about this place. The Cabin looks and is in perfect condition, everything was very clean and the owners thought of every minor detail. We love to cook and the kitchen was equipped with everything needed to prepare any kind of meal. Our boys loved all the video games and movies provided. There was a phone that can be used free of charge since there is no phone reception anywhere close to Yosemite. The cabin is 12 miles of the Southern Entrance. The Sequoias, Glacier Point and Wawona is all closer to the southern Entrance.

Perfect

The house was perfect. When we arrived the house was spotless and loved the fact that you had free wifi especially since cell service is spotty. Everything in the house was new. Kitchen had everything you would need to cook. We loved the grill and used almost every night. Close to oakhurst so if you need to grocery shop or deceide to go to dinner. Great location to Yosemite. My family and I loved the house it felt like home.

The cabin exceeded our expectations. Everything was practically new. It's perfect for a family with children.. The kids enjoyed the yard outside as much as all the game stations inside. I couldn't say enough good things about it. The location was excellent 20 min to Yosemite / 15 or less to Oakhurst .. I can't wait to rent it again :)

Perfect for friends and family

My family and I reserved the Anglers Rest for the 17th-19th of June, and we loved every minute spent in the home. The home was spotless when we arrived. We had 4 adults and 2 children in our group, there was plenty of space for more. Being so close to Yosemite and to Bass Lake, we didn't spend much time in the home but when we did, it was always enjoyable. Also the Xbox and Netflix was a HUGE hit with the whole group.

From Kauai to Yosemite

We really liked the cleanliness and newness of the home. Finding the light switches for the kitchen and dining room was a challenge, but finally located them on the island. The smoke detector in the master bedroom was very sensitive--the steam from the master bathroom set it off. Other than these two issues, it was a great place for a family of four-six if you use the comfortable sofa.

The Taylors

My Husband and I always love to get away for some peace and quiet, This was the perfect place. We loved that the cabin is nestled in the hills and it had everything we needed. We both are big Movie watchers and it was nice to come back after a good walk and watch movies. The best part is that its Minutes from some really Great Eating places and Grocery stores. We went to the local shops and enjoyed a Jamba Juice as we walked and did some site seeing. At night we sat out on the balcony and gazed at the stars. James and Tiffany the owners were more than helpful and attended all our needs, which in fact we had None for everything was JUST PERFECT. We recommend this beautiful Get away to all, we will surely be back again and again. ( The Taylors)
