About the host
Hosted by Stacy Dolan

Doug and I are both in the health care fields. Doug is an optometrist and I am a physical therapist. We both love to fly fish. We were born and raised in Montana and we love the outdoors. Katy is a great swimmer and like me, she enjoys downhill skiing. I especially like to travel and we try to take a trip somewhere every year. Doug enjoys exploring the mountains around the cabin on the 4 wheeler.
Why they chose this property
Back in 2003 we found this cabin and we both liked it right away. I spent many weekends at an A-frame cabin on a ski hill owned by friends of my family while growing up and so this cabin feels very comfortable and like 'home'. We especially liked the gently sloping entrance into the water as Katy was very young when we bought the cabin. We both felt it was easy to get to, not far from our home, and obviously had many recreational opportunities in every direction.
What makes this property unique
Our family appreciates the quiet at the cabin, and time to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The lake is spring fed and is especially good for swimming because of the warmer temperatures and we all love to swim. Spending time here 'recharges our batteries' and lets us reconnect with each other.
