Beautiful and peaceful property. One minor suggestion. Bigger and updated tv and sound system in livingroom. Watching movies with the family at night was different due to the small outdated tv and sound system. Also access to boat or water equipment would be a great benefit. We would stay again

We enjoyed the lake view and swimming off of the dock. The house was beautiful and served a family of 4 and 2 grandparents well. We found cooking in the house okay, but had to buy mugs since there weren't any large ones. Some instructions would have been helpful for operating the tv. We found a broom near the end of our stay, but would have used it earlier had there been some direction as to where to find things. It would have been helpful to have a print out at the house of instructions for trash, end of stay, etc. Overall we would rate this as one of the top 10 places we've stayed. We would definitely stay here again.

Very nice home on the lake. Plenty of room for the family to spread out. We enjoyed the dock and the back deck which is massive. We were in town for a Travel Softball tournament. It was nice to come back to every day and relax. We will definitely stay here again when we come back in town. We just hope it’s available!

Wonderful Lake Views

We enjoyed the 270 degree lake views from inside and outside from the expanse deck and patio with with fire pit. We had family in the area and it was a great place to gather during the day and enjoy the amenities. Whether it was using the fire pit to make s’mores, fishing from the dock or eating on the deck we all had a wonderful time.

Response from VrboOwner on 23 Mar 2020
I'm sorry for your experience. We were not contacted and informed of any of your concerns until after you had already stayed 2 nights at the home. We offered to send the cleaning company to help find solutions if there were any issues that you may have encountered, but you declined our offer. You had even asked if you could stay an extra night, but we unfortunately had another reservation so we could not accommodate your request. We appreciate if all guests can inform us of any concerns they have immediately within the first few hours of your stay as mentioned in the rental agreement so we can help find a solution if needed as quickly as possible.

Lake Wylie and basketball

We traveled from Indiana for a weekend AAU basketball tournament and needed a place to stay for our family and Carolina friends. The house was perfect. Location on the water was peaceful and allowed us lake access. We rented a pontoon and explored the lake. Great weekend!

Simply Beautiful!

My family and I were in the area for our annual family reunion. I found this place last minute and it was perfect. Way more space than I actually needed and wished I had more time there. The home is surrounded by newly built homes. The only downfall is that the home isnt really close to the highway so the city is about 30 minutes away. This is a great escape.

Family vacation

Beautiful location. Very peaceful stay. 21’ bass boat was difficult to park due to having to back down private road. A few things to improve the stay: add more wash clothes for 5 day stay and a hair dryer . More shelves in the kitchen cabinets would be nice. Non stick skillets are scratched. They need to be replaced.

6/10 Okay

Roughing it, or work in progress perhaps

This home has a beautiful location and view, comfy couch and is a good place for family to gather. Some things are nicely updated, yet others are very overdue...like the worn down carpet. Some seem neglected, like the bath mat in the master shower that was literally stuck to the floor...it made me wonder the last time it was laundered. It's exactly how a family's personal cabin would be, very basic...mismatched dishes and a lack of silverware (though he provided plastic spoons and knives at least), etc But it isn't a place I felt really comfortable in. We bought dish soap and dishwasher soap and left for the next guests. Beds are very 'firm' to be polite. The outside of the fridge is either stained with something that won't wipe away or hasn't been wiped thoroughly. Hand towels and wash clothes were not provided (only bath towels were). As my husband put it, this place needs a woman's touch! That said, it looks like the owner is in the process of trying to fix it up and as he does it may be a very nice rental. For now it is good as a value rental. Thank you for hosting us.

We enjoyed our stay at this lake front home. Everything was clean and had all of the necessities. The host had great communication. We brought our pontoon boat and bass boat, the boat dock was perfect for us. The location was also ideal for us. We would absolutely love to stay again.
