Welcome to our little piece of paradise. If you’re looking for an entirely private apartment with a separate living area, kitchen and master bedroom with a king bed, you’ve come to the right place. Each apartment has it’s own separate entrance for privacy. Outdoor areas are shared with other guests and the homeowners. The lush landscaping throughout the property and water views of The Middle River, will make you feel like you’re in paradise. Middle River surrounds Wilton Manors. The Island City and goes through parts of Fort Lauderdale, connecting to the Intracoastal Waterway. If you’re feeling adventurous and want to explore, we also have kayaks and paddle-boards. We are located walking distance to Wilton Drive (a.k.a The Drive) but on a quiet street away from all the hustle and bustle. This listing is for one of two available apartments at this property. Each apartment is different and with it’s own unique features, so please checkout the complete details and photos to decide which best fits your needs. My partner and I live downstairs and share the outside areas with our guests. Both apartments are upstairs, there is no elevator access to the second floor. We are a gay couple and rent to MEN ONLY. All outdoor areas including, pool, hot tub, outdoor shower, covered patio and outdoor dining areas are clothing optional. We want you to feel comfortable, wear as much or as little as you’d like. We offer a relaxing setting where you can lounge comfortably by the pool, listen to music, read a book or sit by the water and watch the sun go down. There’s also a private play area... We are a friendly open-minded household where you can getaway from it all, sit and chill or indulge in all the fun, restaurants and bars Wilton Manors (a.k.a. The Gayborhood) has to offer. Wilton Manors is one of the top gayest cities in U.S. and is home to the annual Stonewall Pride Parade, FlockFest (beach party), Floatarama (pride on the water), and Wicked Manors (annual Halloween event). There’s always something fun going on at The Drive or venture out to several of the nearby bathhouses. We’re a short drive to the beaches and downtown Fort Lauderdale. Ten minute drive to Las Olas Blvd and close to several shopping venues including The Galleria Mall and Coral Ridge Mall. We are also walking distance to Ramrod.

We are available for long term rentals, up to 3months. Contact us for more information and date availability. Due to high demand December through April dates are typically reserved one year in advance and require a minimum 3 week stay.

The apartment was just the right size for us as a couple. The location was convenient to everything one would want to do in Fort Lauderdale. Comfortable bed, very quiet for sleeping, and a well stocked kitchen were much appreciated. Our hosts saw to our every need and were always available. Would definitely stay there again!

Great apartment and location

Apartment had everything we needed. Spacious with access to the garden with pool and hot tub. Very convenient for bars and restaurants in Wilton Manors (easily walkable). Arnie and Jacob were great hosts, right from our initial booking enquiry. Always responded quickly to any questions. I’d definitely recommend the property.

Resort style property

Arnie and Jacob were great hosts. Every little detail was covered. The pool, hot tub, water view, lush tropical foliage, and water fountains made it feel like we were at a resort and was very private. Location to Wilton drive was also great. No need to Uber when you can just walk!! Would absolutely stay here again.

Under the palms.........

Janison and I enjoyed our stay poolside under the palms immensely. Arnie & Jacob were great hosts. The property is great location not to far from the beach, shopping, restaurants, and nightlife if desired. We'll definitely go back and recommend their place highly.

First Class Luxurious Home Away from Home

Accommodating owners, beautiful pool / grill area / jacuzzi / outdoor shower in a well maintained tropical setting. Rooms are stocked with everything you didn't think of from cutlery to sunscreen. Clean, contemporary, beautifully designed room with an extremely comfortable memory foam bed. The location is perfect for Wilton Drive restaurants, bars, and dance clubs, close to the beach and shopping. Our stay couldn't have been better.

Fabulous Getaway

We had a lovely five days at this property. Arnie and Jacob were wonderful hosts, very helpful in answering all our questions prior to the trip, welcoming us graciously in person upon arrival, and always friendly and gracious during our stay. The apartment was lovely, sparkling clean, bright, quiet, well appointed and very comfortable. It was perfect for a quiet few days in a lovely setting. We hope to return for another visit. Thank you!

Amazing Wilton Manors Gem

My partner and I enjoyed staying with the guys at Middle River Landing so much. The pool was crystal clear, the hot tub relaxing and really a nice few days to get us away from our hectic lives. We enjoyed the fact that you can walk to the bars and restaurants in Wilton Manors, and also enjoyed the weekend party at the Ramrod bar which is just two blocks away. The guys were so sweet, when we arrived they were home waiting, and had a nice cold bottle of sparkling wine upon our arrival. We can not wait to go back and stay again.

Top Notch Apartment, Facilities, & Hosts

You really could not ask for a better place to stay. This was our 3rd or 4th visit at MRL, and it just improves every time we visit. The apartment is very clean & very well equipped and the amenities are superb. The pool and hot tub and enclosed yard are absolutely gorgeous as are the hosts, Scott & Rod. It is a very warm & inviting place to spend some time. We had some friends over, and they were very impressed with the whole place. Even the other couple in the other unit were friendly and good company. It is always a delight to stay at MLR.

A Beautiful Little Oasis

Our hosts were friendly, charming and very helpful. Their property is a beautiful, impeccably kept private oasis nestled among palm trees on the Middle River. The pool and hot tub were perfect. The apartment is very comfortable and was equipped with everything we needed plus a lot of thoughtful touches that went beyond anything we expected. It is close to all the bars and restaurants on Wilton Drive and convenient to all of Fort Lauderdale. It is at the top of our list of places to stay in Fort Lauderdale, and we strongly recommend it to anyone looking for accommodations in the area.

Beautiful Property in Wilton Manors

What a great property! Came down for the Christmas-New Years week and had a fantastic time. The property itself is amazing. We rented a beautiful one bedroom apartment and everything was clearly new (fully renovated). The bed was very comfortable as well. The pool is awesome and the river view very relaxing. The owners are extremely attentive and welcoming. They were really helpful on where to go and what to see....whether it was where to find great sushi or where to see alligators in the everglades...they offered great options. The property is also within a short distance of many restaurants and fun bars in Wilton Manors. Can't wait to go back!

Safe, secure, private, FABULOUS

The description of this property in the listings does not do it justice, you have to experience being there to realise how good it is. For example: take a dip in the heated pool (We've been in many so-called heated pools) and you might think you were taking a warm bath. For example: the main bed is not just King sized - but E N O R M O U S - certainly by European standards and is very comfortable. And I could go on. The location is excellent, close to supermarkets and restaurants, 20mins (or so: depending on traffic on Sunrise B.vd) to the beach, and the house is in a mainly quiet residential area. It feels safe and secure. Scott and Rod are great hosts: friendly, helpful, there when you need, them but not intrusive. Would we go again - well, feeling a little lost at finding that next year (Feb 2017) is already booked - if you are thinking of visiting, don't hesitate.

Ft. Lauderdale's Best Choice for Gay Travelers!

This was my second stay at Arnie's and Jacob's place and I wouldn't have thought it possible but it was even better than the first. Every aspect of our trip - from booking to arrival to our time there - could not have made us feel more welcome and cared for. The apartment is beautifully decorated, comfortable, and equipped for dining-in or simply coffee in the morning. The property is equally beautiful, landscaped with a profusion of palms, orchids, bromeliads and other tropical flora. The waterfront location, pool and hot tub really create a resort feel; it would be easy to spend a lazy week without leaving other than for meals. Arnie and Jacob are the perfect hosts - if you desire privacy you'll never see them, but if you'd like tips about the area they're knowledgeable and happy to help. We'll definitely be back!

The Perfect Relaxing and Invigorating Vacation

Jacob & Arnie were the most gracious and welcoming host. The pristine amenities were the start to a most enjoyable home away from home. The Pool View accommodation truly felt like home. Tons of natural light and a stocked kitchen for most any cooking needs. If work called, we were able to pull out our laptops and work as needed in a peaceful homie environment. Perfect location! Walking distance to most any night life and restaurants. The highlight of our trip was paddle boarding around Wilton Manors and enjoying the most stunning sunset upon the river. We sincerely enjoy this trip and feel like we've made some awesome friends, Jacob & Arnie. We will most definitely return!

Joy, Serenity, and Comfort

Who could ask for a better place to call home for a week in Lauderdale? Arnie and Jacob were the consummate hosts: so friendly, accommodating, congenial, and genuine. The Pool View apartment was spotless, well-stocked and very comfortable. The pool was warm, clean, and inviting, and the hot tub was relaxing and spotless. Arnie and Jacob have made some phenomenal changes to the compound: all of which have really enhanced the property and improved the ambience and security of compound. We felt welcome, secure, serene, wanted, and comfortable. One of the best things was the joy Arnie and Jacob exuded and passed along to their guests. They knew how to touch my heart with joy and love. Many thanks and much love to Arnie and Jacob!!!

Loved that you can walk to the heart of Wilton Drive in just 10 minutes (shops, restaurants, bars and nightclubs). Very private, spacious and comfortable apartment with tropical grounds and seating areas shared with other guests and the hosts. Arnie and Jacob were the perfect hosts -very knowledgeable on things to do as well as taking care of all your needs. You will not want to leave!
