We have stayed at Southern Tide at least twice a year for the past few years. Our experience has been AMAZING each visit! We could not ask for better hosts. We are looking for to our next visit! Thank you again to the Tingley family for another wonderful vacation spot!!
We have stayed here before and it was as great this time as it was before. Everything is always clean, the owner is wonderful. I think it’s the best place on Indian Pass. We are already looking forward to the next trip and staying here again

Thank You for taking time to leave a review. So happy you enjoyed your stay . I did hear you were the cutest couple . 🥰
The home was well stocked with everything we needed. The only thing that was a bit of a hiccup was that the listing was for a 2 bedroom 2 bath home, but the 2nd bathroom was not attached to the main living space so we ended up with 4 people sharing 1 main level bathroom space.

Nice fishing getaway
Had a nice time, the house is steps to the beach with a nice deck, 2 grills and a screened porch. Pet friendly which was a plus and the house was in nice condition. Owners very quick to respond when I had questions. This is perfect for those who just want to chill and relax at the beach or fish (we brought our 22ft boat and it fit nicely in the driveway). Would definitely recommend to others. Thank you Lisa!
We had amazing week in Indian Pass. Our check in process was so simple. The house was very nice and had everything we needed. The owners even texted me to let me know that the "shrimp lady" woud be in our area for us to be able to purchase fresh seafood. Very responsive toany needs we had. I woukd highly recommend this home and will be back next fall.
The Stuckey's
This is the third time my husband and I stayed at this property. It did not disappoint. We love the location and find the house has everything we need. It is clean and very comfortable. If you are looking for quiet and serenity, this is the place for you. There’s a beach you can walk to in less than 2 minutes and a general store for quick pick ups that is less than a 5 minute drive. The owner is very pleasant, responsive and helpful. We plan to return.
The house is in a good location, not very far from the beach. Nice carport with outside shower. The second bathroom is located off the carport. The house was nice, very clean. Kitchen and laundry room contained most of necessities. We stayed in the bedroom with the king sized bed, it was very comfortable. The second bedroom was nice as well. We would stay at this property again.
Perfect for a quiet stay close to water and a boat ramp.
The neighborhood was awesome. A super short walk to the beach. A short drive to the Indian pass boat ramp. We caught lots of fish in the pass and spent some awesome time at St Joe bay from Cape San Blas state park. This property is close to the best fishing and the best clear water that the area has to offer. My boat fit under the house and my gear was totally safe being left out.
Lisa’s home proved my point that VRBO’s owned by people and not some big property management company are superior by a long shot.
Another terrific stay in Indian Pass at this property. This was our second stay and it won’t be our last. The house is clean and many items are stocked. You have plenty of cookware and kitchen items to prepare meals. We prepared three meals which we never do on vacation, but caught pompano and whiting. It was tide to table. There are plenty of bath towels and paper products. The property is spacious and comfortable. It is 155 steps to the beach. The area is peaceful. Lisa and Mike were responsive and helpful. Thank you for a fantastic week!
This was our second visit in 4 months! Just about everything that you would want your "home away from home" to be like and more!! We were just steps away from the beach!
Thank you Mike and Lisa! We are hoping to return soon!!
Short walk to the beach ⛱️. Home was very clean and everything we needed. Would definitely stay again. Screened in porch was nice to sit when not on beach

Great Location, Some Missteps
This home is in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood close to the beach (1-2 minute walk down the street, or 1 minute drive one street over with golf cart). The screened-in porch allowed us to sit outside comfortably at night and the palm trees planted around the deck provide scenery and privacy. The two bedrooms are very nicely arranged and we enjoyed the sealife-themed wall art with the caption "A star and a crab live here." The living area is spacious, well-decorated, and furnished with very comfortable recliners and couches. Cooking with the gas stovetop was a delight!
In some places (including the top of the page) the VRBO post lists three bathrooms, but elsewhere two bathrooms. We saw one bathroom with tub/toilet/shower on the main level, with direct access from the master bedroom. That bathroom would ALSO be shared with any guests in the second bedroom. There is a second bathroom with toilet/shower, but it's ONLY accessible by exiting the home, heading downstairs, and entering through the door near the carport. This bathroom smelled musty and our party of two didn't use it. If our party were any larger (say another couple), I would've felt uncomfortable either sharing the one bathroom on the main level or asking anyone to exit the home in order to access the downstairs bathroom for daily use. Additionally, there's a nice outside shower stall, but this only adds up to two bathrooms.
Overall the home was clean, although some things were missed. When placing our clothes into the master bedroom dressers, we found an overlooked pair of boxers. We just tossed it and Lysol'd the drawer. The grill had food-encrusted foil in it and the grill brush was rusted out. However, when we notified the owner and property manager, the latter was quick to come by and clean out the grill. We still opted against using the grill due to the rusty grill brush not being replaced.
Possibly due to a strong lightning storm, both the coffeemaker and refrigerator stopped working three nights in. We discovered this the fourth day. Again, the owner and property manager were fairly quick to respond. The coffeemaker was replaced the same day, while the refrigerator took another week. The owner graciously provided food storage options in the meantime, which we appreciated.
Neither of us loved the "Mammy & Chef/Pappy" figurines stored in a kitchen cupboard. They are racist and anti-black.
Nice enough place. We'll return to the neighborhood but not this home.
Well equipped house, Cooks kitchen with everything you'll need!
Very well equipped house, comfortable beds and I'm picky! Loved the cookware and the gas stove. I cook a lot and brought my own spices but seemed to have everything anyone could need. Close to the water and beach. I will definitely be back!
This is the perfect location for a relaxing beach vacation. It is only a short walk to the Gulf where you will be welcomed by playful dolphins early in the morning. The neighborhood is a mix of renters and super friendly people who are fortunate enough to live here all year. The house is well furnished, and even has a cast iron pan to cook your catch. The bed received 2 thumbs up from "the princess and the pea".
We are already looking forward to our next trip.
