Just minutes from the Arts & Crafts Community and Downtown Gatlinburg you will love spending your family vacation at Mountain Splash. Your own private indoor pool with waterfall will create a memorable vacation. If by some small chance anyone gets bored, you can shoot a game pool or use the free highspeed WIFI. Even better, relax with a book on the covered deck or even in front of the gas fireplace. Better yet, you can soothe yourself in the hot tub on the covered deck.

The fully equipped kitchen will provide you with everything you need to prepare in cabin meals during your short or extended stay - after all, the kids may never want to leave the cabin. If you do want to adventure out you are just 20 minutes to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park main entrance, 15 minutes to Dollywood, 8 Minutes to the Arts and Crafts Community and only 15 minutes to Downtown Gatlinburg.

This cabin is professionally managed by Elk Springs Resort Cabin Rentals in Gatlinburg, TN. We provide concierge service as well as dispatched maintenance and housekeeping should you need assistance during your stay. Host requires the guest to sign a rental management agreement prior to allowing access to the unit. The agreement details our cancellation policy, terms and conditions. Must be 21 or older to reserve a cabin and person booking my be staying in the cabin.

We provide a starter supply of paper products, detergents and soaps and coffee filters. We do not supply shampoo, conditioner, body wash and there are not pantry items, spices, salt & pepper or coffee included - guests should bring these items.

Perfect for our family

Relaxing stay

Reviewer Comments: The property was great, my wife and I needed a couple days away to unwind and relax we loved the pool and hot tub we bought groceries so we didn't have to leave the only real downside was the bed it was like sleeping on the floor. I just think for over 300 a night the bed could be alot higher quality

Would have preferred a gas grill but managed fine on charcoal- nothing was missing - kitchen well stocked, comfy bed- great hot tub.couch may need replacing soon- sinking but overall absolutely awesome!!!! miss it so much already!!!

The property is nice and secluded with every amenity you could possibly need to have a perfect vacation. Everything is always clean. We have had very good customer service with anything that has come up. We loved not having to deal with town traffic to get to the grocery store and nice restaurants. We hope to come again someday.

Possibly caused by the downstairs pool creating excess moisture in the cabin. Other than that all GOOD.

Mountain Splash Cabin

The location of the cabin was very close to a personal residence that was not very up kept which made it a little uncomfortable with the surrounding residence.

We deeply apologize for the unpleasant squirrel experience you had. We had to have a wildlife expert come trap and remove them after your stay. Their access hole has been permanently sealed off so they will have to live in the forest instead of the cabin from now on. Unfortunately, we can't do anything about the location of the cabin and the neighbors, unless they present an issue such as loud noise or partying into the early morning hours. We pride ourselves in providing 5 star stays to our guests, handling any problems with your stay while you are our guest and making sure your safety is never an issue. We Were Disappointed

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were disappointed that we could not use the pool because the water was too cold and the thermostat was under lock and key. Aside from that, there were issues with a lack of cleanliness and the furnishings are really very old and worn.

Mountain Splash Trip

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The check in process was easy, the cabin was just as it was described and it was a beautiful place as well as gorgeous scenery. The only issue we had was check out time for 10am but the cleaning crew showed up at 930 and stared at us the entire time we loaded up the car. They didn't introduce themselves or say who they were til we were pulling out and they were bringing in their cleaning supplies. Very unprofessional to rush us out like that in my opinion. Other than that, it was an enjoyable stay!

Best Chalet Rental Ever !!!

You will never want to leave and go anywhere.Everything was immaculate from the pool to the hot tub, the heart shaped Jacuzzi and extra large bed. A bit pricey, but you definitely get what you pay in this unit. The downstairs indoor pool is a great addition for adults and especially the children. We brought our grandaughter on this trip and could not get her away from the pool!! :) She loved it. The pictures do not do justice to the pool area. A great place to relax. We have vacationed in Gatlinburg during the holidays for over 20 years now and I can say this one was the best. Close to downtown, easy to get to and the checkin/checkout process is super simple. Nice Family Getaway

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The roads leading to the cabin are narrow and steep. There are also very few street signs which can make it hard to navigate. We made sure to be in before it got dark. The cabin was clean. The kitchen has basic cookware and utensils. Nothing fancy but it got the job done. The bed and sleeper sofa served their purpose. We slept fine with no complaints. The pool area is a nice size. There's an alarm on the door and a code is required to access the area. The only issue we had during our stay was the millipedes. They were on the main level and in the pool room. I didn't notice any upstairs. It felt like we were stepping on potato chips. After a quick phone call management sent someone out to spray which helped a little bit. Overall we enjoyed ourselves and would definitely stay at this cabin again.

Home Away From Home

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our first time staying in a cabin and it was a wonderful experience. Pluses - cabin was private and quiet. We arrived to a clean cabin. The kids loved having the private pool. We do wish we would have been able to sit outside with the pool door open but the alarm sounded every 7 seconds. Wi-fi worked fantastically. Having the hot tub on the enclosed deck was a plus to not worry about bears! Negatives- the mattress needs to be replaced. You can feel the insides while laying on it. Same for the pull out mattress. Although I’ve yet to find one of those that were comfy. Also would have been nicer to have sink bases to be able to put stuff on instead of carrying all your items to and from bathroom. Shower water pipes squealed the entire time you showered but water was hot enough! In the hot tub only 1 jet worked so that was a little disappointing. Also more signs leading to the cabin would have been helpful. All in all the cabin was wonderful and the pluses outweighed the negatives and we’d 100% recommend it to others.

Nice, cozy cabin

The cabin is in good condition, and was relatively clean. We like staying in the Arts and Crafts area, and this cabin was not too difficult to get to, and was about 10 minutes from town. There is a steep grade to get up to it, but that's common. There is a neighboring cabin very close, in fact right across the driveway, that was unexpected and occupied with what appears to be some locals. They weren't a problem or anything, just very close. The pool was lots of fun, but could have been warmer. We couldn't swim for more than 15 minutes or so without becoming too cold to take it anymore. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this cabin. No major problems or inconveniences. Like I stated, the cabin was clean. Carpets could use a shampooing, and floors needed mopping, but I'm very picky on cleanliness. Maybe that wouldn't bother someone else. It wouldn't stop me from renting this cabin again. Check in/out was a breeze. I loved getting the info via text message. We'd definitely use Elk Springs Rentals again!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Let me first say that this property was WONDERFUL. Everything listed on the site was there. We really couldn't have asked for more. However, I would not stay here again nor recommend this particular cabin to anyone. Where the cabin is located there is a neighboring home about 200 feet from the front door of the cabin. The home is not a rental and has a tenant who I assume lives there year round. We stayed 7 days and I was calling Elk Springs on the second day because the neighbor continuously walked his dog on the property throughout the day. The hot tub is located on a balcony along the left side of the cabin. That side also contains a fair piece of grassy area that leads into the backyard. Well we were in the hot tub and here comes the neighbor without a care in the world. Well at that time were in no particular state of dress to say anything so we just hunkered down. Around midnight he again walked his dog up to and in front of the window on the front side of the house. I called the next morning and had to leave a message because they were busy. NO return call. Two days later I had definitely had enough and again called several times in a row and finally spoke with Dan who I told it was really to the point that I was ready to call the police. He told me that is exactly what " I " should do. Well... I don't think that I should be the one to call the police. I rented the cabin for safety, security, and relaxation. I still had three more days left to live there and possibly have to deal with then an irate peeping tom. It continued all week until we checked out at 10am. He walked his dog at 927 up to and around the backyard right back to his front door. Elk Springs. This was a our second visit and will not be our last. However, you did drop the ball on this one and we will never rent this particular cabin again even though it was fabulous.

Ashley, we appreciate your feedback. I would like to start by saying that customer safety is very important to us. This neighboring resident walks his dog all the time. We have seen him when we are going to clean the cabins or do maintenance. However, this is the first guest complaint we have had about him. If you felt in any way that he was a threat, then our staff did the right thing by advising you to call the police. We do apologize that he made you feel uncomfortable and felt like he was invading your privacy. We should have sent a staff member up to the cabin to talk to him while you were our guest, but your complaint wasn't handled as it should have been. I sincerely apologize that you felt like we "dropped the ball." For the record, I personally tried to call you back regarding the hot tub that you wanted drained and refilled and it said your mailbox was full. I had to resort to texting you to communicate with you. I think you were probably in certain areas where cell reception was not very good. We do ntend to speak to the neighbor about being more respectful of our guests who are trying to enjoy their vacations. I can assure you that this will not happen again! Customer satisfaction is very important to us and we don't take things like this lightly. We appreciate your repeat business and would love for you to give us another chance. Great Cabin

Nice place but no Hearts

Awesome Getaway

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We, my husband, myself and two young children, had an amazing time at the Mountain Splash cabin. It was everything we needed in order to getaway from our COVID scary lives and forget for a minute. The cabin was very clean and the pool was perfect for our non-swimming (floaties wearing) girls. It was removed from the city enough to feel like we were on vacation. At one point the smoke detector was beeping and they sent a technician right away. I was truly impressed with the service. Thank you for everything. We WILL be staying with you again.

We had a great trip! We love Gatlinburg and the attractions!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We always have a great trip in Gatlinburg. There is so much to do in Gatlinburg. The cabin was nice, the indoor pool was nice, and we enjoyed the indoor heart shaped jacuzzi tub. The outdoor jacuzzi was nice but more lighting was needed. The biggest issue we had with the cabin was the millipede bugs. We contacted house-keeping and they sent a maintenance rep to spray to try and get rid of the bugs. Additional pest control measures are required for this cabin. Although millipede bugs are harmless, they were annoying and there were too many millipede bugs. We will not be returning to stay in this cabin and we will not recommend anyone to stay in this cabin.
