Great place. Perfect location. Very convenient and fun.
An okay condo in a great location.
We recently stayed in this condo. The location is great--located inside the Park Hyatt--which is a wonderful hotel with lots of extras--including a wonderful restaurant and spa. The lobby is very welcoming and the fire pit outside the hotel is perfect (with complimentary s'mores). To my family, the unit seemed small for a three bedroom. The third bedroom is very, very tiny. The third bedroom does not have a window and is very hot--there is a huge fan in the closet--even with the air conditioner on--the room was almost too hot for sleeping. The master bath shower had just lukewarm water--so showers had to be taken quickly. The washer and dryer are very old--so it takes forever to dry anything (and are so loud you can barely hear yourselves talk). The kitchen is not well equipped--and definitely not for 12 people (we had five and felt cramped and were missing plates etc). The unit was not prepared for guests--we had to buy dishwasher detergent--all this is provided at the Ritz Carlton Vail. There were no robes in the room--the front desk told us that they could have sent some up to us--but it is the responsibility of the owner to have the little amenities that make the stay more pleasant. The porch is nice and the view is great.
The condo contact person told us that daily housekeeping was included in the price and it was not.
So the location and view are great, but the condo could use several updates.
Fantastic stay. Great amenities and staff at the Park Hyatt. Numerous restaurants are within walking distance and the food is second to none. I would recommend taking advantage of the spa at the resort, and enjoying the fire pit just outside the back door. We were not there during ski season but I can see how awesome it would be during ski season. Next time we go out that direction it will be a must stay on our trip.
Thank you for choosing us as your honeymoon destination. Your kind words are appreciated.
The Park Hyatt Resort and Spa at Beaver Creek is an unbelievable place. The penthouse is so cozy. Awesome updated rooms. Sitting on the deck was a breath of fresh air, while taking in the mountain view. The kids slept comfortably on the sofa pull out couch. The private elevator makes it super easy to get in and out quickly. The pool was always clean and refreshing as were the hot tubs. The concierge was always ready to help with what we wanted. So nice to have easy access to the shopping and eating and the ice skating rink in August. So cool!!! It was a terrific place to vacation. I would highly recommend it to anyone thinking of staying. Wonderful Memories!!!!
Thank you Lori for your kind words about staying in our condo. We are pleased to be apart of your memories.
Park Hyatt Resort and Spa, one of the best.
We spent a week in the Park Hyatt Resort and Spa at Beaver Creek. This by far is the best vacation spot we have ever visited. The penthouse is unbelievable, every convenience you could ask for. The resort is amazing, so much to do. The concierge was so helpful in planning and scheduling our activities. The jeep tour, zip-lining, horseback riding, white water rafting, and hiking were so much fun. One of the best features is the ice rink that is open year round. The pool and spa facilities are excellent. The movie night on the lawn and nightly Smores at the firepit were loads of fun.
