The owner Juan sent the keys in advance with detailed instructions on how to reach the property, which was spot on.
The large 2 bed apartment is in a fabulous location, one of the best in Playa Flamenca. We had a car but you don’t actually need one, everything you need is short walk away. The beach is 10min walk and is fabulous, with great coffee shops, restaurants and a fab charity shop!
In the other direction, 10 min walk away is the Mall with all the restaurants bars and shops (inc more charity shops!) AND a massive supermarket is literally 2 mins.
The apartment had everything you could need, inc sunloungers, sun chairs and sun umbrellas, should you want to explore other, wilder beaches.
The main bedroom has a full pool view and the second bedroom has a side pool view. The pool area was FANTASTIC, we very often had it to ourselves. Very clean with showers.
The beds were very comfortable and there was plenty of wardrobe space with dozens of coat hangers!!
There was also cleaning materials ie washing up liquid, washing powder, dishcloths etc which was great as you normally have to buy these when renting an apartment. It was the same with the cooking essentials ie salt, sugar, olive oil etc... even ground coffee for the coffee machine.
The owner is very informative and helpful - anything you need to know, ask Juan. He replies within minutes to your messages. Also, the WiFi was brilliant, quicker than at home, which is rare.
As we were there for 2 weeks, halfway through the holiday we had explored the area for 2 nights. We went up to Guardamar and Santa Polo which was quite a nice area but couldn’t wait to get ‘home’

The apartment was on the whole clean with the exception of the utility room which was very dusty, open to the air and covered in pigeon feathers, it being situated underneath their roosting position (not the fault of the owner). The kitchen was dated and required a makeover. The lounge furniture also was dated. The washing machine was old . For me the apartment needs Air Con, fine in the day but very hot and humid overnight. Finally the lawn watering system came on at 0315 every morning and it was very noisy, meaning the windows had to be left closed until it had finished it's spraying some 20 minutes later, after that the windows could be opened to allow some air in. The pools were great as was the whole layout of the complex. The pathways were laid with stones that need to be relaid and grouted as they constituted a serious trip hazard. The landlord Juan seemed a very nice man and we were impressed with the details he gave us re the complex,area and local facilities, as we were with the letting agreement. We did however have a good time meeting up with old friends we got to know over the years and of course the sunshine.

The property was clean and tidy but could be doing with a refurbishment, the owner was very helpful with anything we asked but we had family staying in other apartments in the same complex and were more modern inside and about the same price. Apart from that we all enjoyed the holiday.

Great Location - Nice place
This is a nice apartment. We stayed there a week and enjoyed every moment. The apartment has everything you need. Everything is closed by, including the beach. If you are new to the area, the owner can you give a lot of helpful tips and great advice for adventures. He is very nice and accommodating.
We only can recommend this place.

Excellent for families with children,good location
"We stayed in an apartment in June 2011, with two children. We loved the apartment, located in a gated community, which is very convenient for parents with children. In the courtyard there is a swimming pool. The territory has a parking space for cars. But we managed without it. The apartments have everything you need. We had no problems with the settlement and residence throughout the period. The apartment location is very successful, all you need is close by, near the beach, supermarket around the corner, there are other shops, cafes and restaurants, and on Saturdays the market works.
The owner of apartments is very friendly, we had no problems with the documents. All questions he decided very quickly, provided a lot of information and was very attentive.
We plan to return to the apartment again."
