Les Citronniers apartement is a charming 2 bedroom apartment located in an authentic Bastide, the Bastide des Pins, tastefully decorated, garden level, nestled within an unspoiled nature. You will enjoy a stunning view of the French Riviera with an access to the infinty pool. True haven of peace. Two private gardens.
All comfort apartment. Bedroom with a queen size bed, living room with a sofa-bed, large walk-in closet, fully fitted kitchen (washing machine, dishwasher, oven, micro-wave...). Modern bathroom with an Italian shower, TV with DVD player. High speed internet access. Linen provided (sheets, bath towels, tea towels and table linen). Beautiful garden with a variety of Mediterranean plants (olive trees, lemon trees, orange trees, fig trees, oleanders, lavenders...) and a wooded area. Garden furniture and loungers. The property has its own private parking space. 5 min from Vence's historic centre, where the South Evenings festival takes place in summer and 20 min from the beaches. Departure point of several walks. All services within 5 minutes.

Unglaublicher Ausblick

Die kleine Ferienwohnung ist altmodisch aber super authentisch und sauber mit einem tollen Bad. Die Küche bietet alles was man benötigt. Das Haus und der Pool sind der Wahnsinn. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Frau Perrin ist eine tolle und freundliche Gastgeberin.

Great place overseeing the Mediterranean

Peaceful place on a great location, overseeing the Mediterranean Tastefully decorated, plenty of equipment snd amenities. Very friendly owners. We had a great stay, it was always good to come back to this oasis of peace after a day of going about.

Wunderbarer Sommerurlaub mit unseren Kindern

Im Juni waren wir mit unseren zwei kleinen Kindern zwei Wochen lang in La Bastide des Pins. Die Perrins sind wunderbar hilfreiche Gastgeber, hin und wieder haben sie uns mit hausgemachten Leckereien überrascht. Dass die Gastgeberin selbst Deutsch kann, war eine angenehme Überraschung. Brauchten wir etwas, stand sie immer zur Verfügung. Beeindruckt hat uns das typisch französische Steinhaus. Unsere Ferienwohnung (wir waren in der unteren) selbst ist gepflegt und ließ uns an nichts mangeln. Der ausgedehnte, mehrstufige und reich bepflanzte Garten lädt zum Verweilen ein (wir haben fast täglich draußen gegessen). Der Blick auf die gut eine halbe Stunde entfernte Cote d’Azur ist deutlich besser als die Fotos hier es zeigen. Anhand von Google Maps hatten wir allerdings vor dem Urlaub den Weg zur Ortsmitte von Vence näher eingeschätzt bzw. dachten, das sei zu Fuß erreichbar. Trotzdem können wir die Bastide des Pins weiterempfehlen!

Sehr erholsame Ferien bei tollem Ausblick!

Lage und Ausstattung der Wohnung waren wie beschrieben, sowohl die Wohnung als auch der schöne Garten sind sehr gepflegt. Das Vermieterehepaar ist sehr aufmerksam, freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Anwesen liegt ruhig oberhalb von Vence und man geniest einen tollen Ausblick über die Buchten von Antibes und Nizza. Durch abgelegene Lage ist ein Auto empfehlenswert, insbesondere auch für Ausflüge nach Vence oder Saint Paul. Wanderwege beginnen gleich in der Nähe.

A wonderful place to stay

My husband and I stayed at this lovely VRBO for 9 days. It was an excellent place that gave us a base to travel to many large and small towns in the general area. The home was very clean and had everything I needed for cooking at home some evenings. Isabelle and Alin were wonderful hosts that gave us many options of places to visit. The rose gardens were a great way to unwind after a full day of site seeing. I would highly recommend their apartment.

Far from the madding crowd....but not too far

Driving up the winding road from Vence centre you climb higher and the views get better and eventually you arrive at La Bastide des pins. It's a perfect setting and Alain and Isabelle the ideal hosts full of suggestions about what to visit. The apartment was spotless and well equipped with everything we needed. That winding road to Vence isn't too far and a lovely walk in the morning, as was the forest trail into the hills in the other direction. After the busy galleries and museums returning to the apartment was so relaxing. Recommended!!

Modern Apartment with Private Garden, Wonderful Hosts

We very much enjoyed our stay in this well-equipped apartment high above Vence. The hosts are very lovely and eager to share their knowledge of the area and attend to every request. On a clear day the view from the apartment's private outside area is amazing, and even in fog, dramatic. Lots of flowers and lucky for us, profuse, fragrant wisteria in bloom, added to the pleasure of the setting. We took lots of day trips and enjoyed returning to eat a home-cooked meal outside, watching the lights twinkle below, or enjoy one of the many excellent restaurants in Vence. The old town of Vence is fun to walk around and less touristy than many others in the area. The house was further from the town than we had envisioned, requiring lots of tight turns and are-we-there-yet moments, and driving time for day trips. The positive side of this is the peace and quiet of the location and the proximity to hiking paths.

Paradise in the South of France!

When my husband and I first arrived, our hosts Isabelle and Alain, greeted us warmly and showed us around their breathtakingly beautiful property~where we stayed for a week! The gardens and view of the Med are spectacular-day and night (at night I would often get up to see the lights of Antibes and Cannes twinkling in the distance)! The cottage is charming, well- appointed, well-equipped, comfortable (the bed and linens are luxurious) cosy and romantic. It's in a great area~ don't miss: St. Paul de Vence ( 10 minutes away), Monaco (exciting but crazy busy), St Tropez (take the ferry from St Maxime), and Antibes (on Thursday for Market day). This little piece of paradise is hard to find and up a very steep hill via a tiny road with hairpin turns but once you get there you will never want to leave!

Wow!

Wow was our first impression of this wonderful bastide. Even though it was pouring rain & light was fading when we arrived, Alain, Isabelle & that amazing view were there to welcome us. There is so much that we loved about Le Bastide des Pins - the wonderful hosts, the view from Nice to the Bay of Cannes (and sometimes Corsica), the tranquility, the many interesting places to visit (6 weeks was not long enough!), the hiking possibilities & the well equipped accommodation. We also appreciated the secure parking right outside our door and enjoyed sitting out in the front garden basking in the sunshine (yes - in January) with the birds singing and the scent of mimosa wafting in the air. We highly recommend Le Bastide des Pins. Isabelle & Alain, thank you for a wonderful 6 weeks. We hope to see you again.

La Bastide des Pins October 2013

We have had the pleasure to stay at "La Bastide des Pins" for three weeks in October 2013 First we want to mention that the owners are truly nice and helpful people. One example of that is when we had the bad luck to get a small screw into one of our tyres resulting in a flat tyre.Where that screw was hidden on the roads in Provence is still a mystery. However ,even if it was on a Saturday afternoon and guests were coming the owners helped us to change tyres ! We made many trips by car in the beautiful surroundings. Our favourite discovery was the little town Entrevaux in the Valley of Var. Another favourite was Gourdon perched on a high cliff overlooking the landscape below and the Mediterranian Sea. We were also impressed by the coast line between Cannes ans St Raphael. "La Bastide des Pins" is also an excellent starting point for hikes in the mountains. For instance you can walk for less than two hours to Tourrettes-sur-Loup, have a nice lunch there and walk back home. We enjoyed our appartment that contained all we needed and we adored our garden where we could enjoy some of our meals with the fantastic view over the Sea. For our "daily" shopping we went to Leclerc in Vence where we found all the food and drink we needed.For more variety we went to Auchan in Grasse a couple of times. For gifts to bring home we drove to the more exclusive CAP3000 in St Laurent very close to Nice. We really enjoyed our stay and we are coming back! Thomas, Ingerid and Dallas (our little dog)

Bastide des pins dans un cadre exceptionnel

Quel émerveillement en arrivant à cette location, une vue sur la côte d'azur magnifique, superbe de nuit. LE GR5 sur un côté la montagne une haie de lavande, rien de mieux pour se faire bronzer en toute tranquillité. Les propriétaires : Isabelle et Alain sont des personnes très sympathiques et de bons conseils avec qui nous avons eu plaisir à discuter. Les confitures d’Isabelle sont excellentes... ils sont sur place mais très discrets. Accès direct sur la terrasse. Les magnifiques randonnées, la découverte des villages, nous ont ravis. Nous avons apprécié le charmant appartement, la vue superbe et le souci de nos propriétaires pour nous rendre le séjour agréable. Nous conseillons cet appartement et garderons un très bon souvenir de ces 15 jours magiques.

Wonderful hideaway above it all

We just returned from a wonderful week at the "Bastide". Very comfortable, very clean 1-bedroom apartment set amongst beautiful gardens and spectacular views. We found this to be the perfect retreat from which to explore the Riviera. Very easy access to Nice, Cannes and Antibes, as well as popular perched villages The hosts could not have been more helpful and hospitable, providing excellent recommendations for exploring and eating. Can't wait to return!

Welch ein Ausblick

Als wir diese Wohnung gebucht hatten, konnten wir uns noch sehr wenig vorstellen, wie es in Wirklichkeit aussehen könnte. Das Panoramabild kann vieles aussagen und entspricht oft nicht dem, was man sich so vorstellt. In diesem Fall, wird jede Vorstellungskraft, was den Blick und die Aussicht betrifft, bei weitem übertroffen. Noch nie hatten wir so einen freien Blick in Richtung Meer. Am linken Rand des Blickwinkels der Flughafen von Nizza, in der Mitte die "Baie des Anges", halbrechts ganz deutlich Antibes mit seinem Cap dahinter und ganz rechts dann das Esterelgebirge, bei Sonnenschein rötlich leuchtend. Einfach wunderschön. Zum Appartement: das Bett 1.60 breit, eine extra Kammer für die Kleider, ein Bad mit Badewanne/Duschgelegenheit Toilette und Waschbecken. Im Wohn/Essbereich ein Tisch mit 4 Stühlen, eine Ausziehcouch, ein TV mit DVD (mehrere DVDs vorhanden) und es gibt einen Wlan-Anschluss. Die Küche ist super ausgestattet, sogar mit Backofen, in Frankreich in Appartements eher eine Seltenheit. Desweiteren eine Mikrowelle, ein Herd eine Spülmaschine, eine Waschmaschine, ein Toaster eine Kaffeemaschine (oldschool) sowie derzeit eine Nespressomaschine. Ich hoffe ich habe nichts vergessen. Es war perfekt und möchte auf jeden Fall den Vermietern ein grosses Kompliment aussprechen, sehr sehr freundlich, immer gut gelaunt und bei allen Fragen geduldig antwortend! Letztendlich sei noch erwähnt, wir hatten unseren Labrador mit, wenn der erzählen könnte, er hätte bestimmt Tränen in den Augen. Er durfte sich frei auf dem (riesigen) Gelände bewegen und hatte so viel Spass. Wir haben beschlossen wieder zu kommen. Danke noch mal an die Vermieter.

Amazing place!

My husband and I rented this beautiful apartment for 2 weeks earlier this year and it was pure heaven! The hosts were very helpful and attentive. The apartment is beautifully furnished and appointed and quiet. The house is located on a hillside with a private garden and view of the Mediterranean. Below the hill are the villages of Vence and St Paul De Vence and above the house are hiking trails through the countryside. We had an idyllic stay with visits to the perched villages, hikes, and simply sitting in the garden with a glass of Cote de Provence rose and watching the boats out on the sea. Loved this place!

Un petit EDEN

La Bastide des pins est un site exeptionnel tant par la vue panoramique sur la côte que par ses équipements. Tout y est fait pour que le séjour reste inoubliable. Les proprietaires sont des gens formidables très à l'écoute,toujours prêts à échanger avec vous et pleins d'attentions pour vous faire plaisir tout en étant très discrets.Le confort de la location est parfait,rien ne manque.La déco est de bon gôut.Pas de ménage de fin de séjour,pas de linge sale à remporter, en un mot que du bonheur.

UN PETIT PARADIS MEME SOUS LA PLUIE

Notre second séjour a été aussi agréable que le précédent malgré une météo capricieuse. Une petite terrasse couverte nous a permis d'admirer le paysage le jour de pluie et nous a préservé de l'humidité des soirées automnales. Les propriétaires sont très agréables, d'une gentilesse, d'une disponibilité et d'une discrétion rare. L'appartement est décoré avec grand goût. L'art y est présent partout. Rien n'y manque. Le dressing est une facilité très appréciable pour le rangement des effets personnels, ainsi, l'appartement reste en ordre. Quant au panorama, il est tout simplement magnifique de jour comme de nuit. Du Jardin, abrités du vent, installés confortablement, nous avons admirés une vue allant de Nice jusqu'au Massif de l'Esterel. Vence est situé au centre d'innombrables balades et découvertes artistiques, touristiques et autres. Nous y reviendrons! Un très grand merci. Evelyne et Nicolas

Perfect sea view, charming house, fine appartment

During our stay we had difficulties to tear our eyes off the wonderfull view over a coastline from Nizza to the massiv esterel west of Cannes! This alone is worth living in this appartment, which is part of a large countryside villa (=Bastide). We could start hiking right from the door, come back and enjoy fresh seafood in front of this incredible view, and we slept well in this nice, clean and well equipped appartment. Thank you for a nice stay in the BASTIDE LE PINS!

Nous avons été accueilis très chaleureusement. La présence des propriétaires discrète. Le panorama est admirable mer et montagne en toile de fond, l'endroit est un écrin de verdure entouré de lavande, palmiers et autres essences. L'intérieur est une "bonbonnière", nous y avons passé notre premier séjour en automne, il était agréable d'y rentrer après une longue promenade au Col de Vence par exemple. La cité historique de Vence est à 5 minutes, flâner dans ces ruelles, déjeuner ou dîner dans ses multiples restaurants, le marché de la place des Grands Jardins contribuent à plonger dans la douceur de vivre des villes du sud. C'était confortable d'avoir à disposition le linge de nuit et de toilette, les valises sont moins lourdes Nous reviendrons en février. Pour les vacances d'été il ne me manque qu'une piscine, mais les plages ne sont pas loin.

Un aperçu du paradis

J'ai adoré mon séjour à la Bastide des Pins. Les hôtes sont charmants et respectent notre intimité. Nous sommes entourés de montagnes et la vue s'étend jusqu'à la Méditerranée. L'appartement est chaleureux et très propre. Les draps, couvertures, serviettes et linge de maison de même que le ménage après notre départ sont inclus dans la location, ce qui est assez rare dans les locations que nous avons expérimenté en France. Je vous le recommande!

Location de haute qualite avec vue exceptionnelle

En septembre 2010 nous avons passe une tres bonne semaine dans cet appartement super. Il est bien meuble avec beaucoup de gout et tout l'equipement menager est en parfait etat. Nous avons beaucoup apprecie la proprete des lieux, la vue magnifique et la gentillesse des proprietaires tres devoues et discrets. Cette location est a recommander sans reserves et nous esperons y retourner.

Decisamente piacevole ed interessante

Bastide dei Pini è un luogo veramente incantevole, molto tranquillo con panorama da cartolina, ed un clima molto gradevole. Siamo stati accolti con squisita cortesia sentendoci subito ospiti graditi. Abbiamo trovato un ambiente ordinato, pulito, ben attrezzato, molto funzionale.
