THE OAKLOFT a rural getaway within easy reach of the Cathedral City of Lincoln
Oakloft is a 1 bedroom first floor semi self-catering apartment set in the grounds of Redhouse Farm Bed & Breakfast in the village of Whisby near Lincoln. The Oakloft is reached by an exterior staircase which leads into a light & stylish living/dining/kitchenette area. It has a separate double bedroom with an en-suite shower room. The views are across our pony paddocks then open countryside across to the Lincoln skyline which boasts the Cathedral set prominently on the hill . We have ample parking and you have the use of the picnic tables in the orchard and your own private patio area with a bbq in the orchard which is just behind the apartment. We supply towels, bedding, teas, coffee, sugar, and on arrival a welcome breakfast basket, which includes cereals, bread, pastries and preserves, teas and coffee with homemade cake on served on arrival. Optional upgrade to a Full English Breakfast (with vegetarian/vegan/gluten free options) delivered to your door is available at £10 per day per person. Details will be included in your booking confirmation
The Oakloft is ideally located for exploring the historic City of Lincoln with it's beautiful Cathedral, museums, art galleries and Lincoln Castle with its newly completed wall walk and the Magna Carta Experience both set amongst delightful independent shops and tea rooms. If you like antiques then you will be spoilt for choice, you can visit Newark which is well known for its antique fairs, the many buildings at Hemswell Antique Centre or the quaint market town of Horncastle.
Just a mile away we have Doddington Hall & Gardens with it's award winning farmshop, restaurant, shops, walks and cycle route or you can walk from the Oakloft to Whisby Nature Park and enjoy the lakes and wildlife or walk/drive to Whisby Natural World Centre and relax in their lakeside cafe. We have lots of information on places to visit and are always on hand for advice and information if required.
