Villa Paz - Affordable Luxury With Private Pool And Gardens

The luxurious Villa Paz is in the highly desirable urbanization of Don Pedro (opposite 5* Hotel Elba). The present owners have totally refurbished it to its present immaculate condition. With new central air conditioning throughout, new contemporary kitchen with integrated Siemens appliances, new bathrooms and 4 bedrooms having en-suites there is so much this villa has to offer. The sun room has the sun all day. The pool, main patio and garden are south facing and have the sun all day. Secluded patio to the rear of the property offers private sun bathing. The upper terrace has views of Gibraltar and Morocco and is an excellent place for pre dinner drinks to take in the mountains and lovely sunsets. Internet has been upgraded to fibre optic. By car, Estepona is only 5 mins away where you will find excellent restaurants serving an amazing variety of tapas, fish and seafood, pizza right through to French. Estepona marina has some lovely restaurants and bars. On a Sunday morning there is a market at the port and its an excellent time for a leisurely lunch. The beach and Hotel Elba approximately 500m. About 15-20 minutes away is Puerto Banus where the rich and famous hang out and drive alongside the marina with their Ferraris and Lamborghinis. Why not have a cocktail at the marina and watch the world go by? Estepona, Marbella and Sotogrande all have local markets where you can pick up some great bargains. The market in Estepona on Wednesday morning has some very good fruit and vegetables along with the usual market goods. Gibraltar is only 1/2 hour drive away (take your passports). If you are feeling a bit more adventurous why not add a trip to Morocco? Taking into consideration the neighbours and the quietness of the area.

Perfect Stay

Amazing villa for a family of 10, including 2 children under 6. Very well appointed and had everything that you would need and more! Very clean and having 4 en-suites was definitely a bonus. A little bit out of Estepona and we would recommend having access to a couple of cars, however easy to book taxis if needed.

Great Property

Had a fabulous 2 weeks staying at Villa Paz. The Villa is really well provisioned and very comfortable. It’s location is ideal, being within a walking distance of a small supermarket and an easy taxi ride to the marina and old town. Richard is a great host and answered our questions really helpfully.

Excellent villa in beautiful Estepona.

The whole family enjoyed their stay at the villa. Communication with the host and Rebecca on site was first rate. The villa was very well equipped and had everything we needed. We’ve already recommended the property to friends who are looking to holiday in Estepona later in the year. A fantastic property for a family holiday.

Excellent villa

A group of ladies stayed here to watch a golf event. Very convenient location, everything very close by. Supermarket, lovely little restaurant, beach etc. The Villa was the best I have ever stayed in, equipped with everything you can ever need, pool is awesome and such a lovely space to spend quality time with friends. Host very friendly and accessible. Will certainly stay here again.

Perfect multi generational destination

It is a lovely villa nestled peacefully on the edge of a small Spanish community a short walk from the beach and a reasonable walk along the beach to the old town. We all loved the pool and there was plenty of space inside and outside for a large group. It was very comfortable and relaxing . Estepona old town is beautiful and great to explore but we were always happy to get back to the villa.

We had an amazing time at Villa Paz. The house was lovely and Rebecca was so helpful and friendly. The house is in a great location only minutes from the beach and port with some great restaurants. I would 100% recommend the house. We will be back again i’m sure. Mandy x

Lovely holiday with family. Booking and communication were easy and we were kept updated by Richard.The villa was spacious with a very well equipped kitchen. It was very clean although some of the bathrooms were a bit tired.We were a little disappointed with the cleanliness of the outside area and quality of the outdoor furniture. The parasols were all very tired/broken but were quickly changed by Rebecca when we reported it. The sunbeds could do with replacing as they lacked support and were quite stained. Richard had warned us that the plot next door was being developed but we hadn’t realised it was such a massive site. Fortunately we didn’t find it too disruptive.

Fantastic Villa

We had a fabulous week here at Villa Paz, the Villa, pool, games for the children were fantastic. There's an Aldi 5 mins walk away which was very handy. Not much else around so we had taxis in to Estepona cost around 7 Euros. The beach was about a 15 min walk but the sand was so hot we couldn't stand it for very long! We would definitely recommend staying in this Villa, it's beautiful!

Spectacular villa

The villa was even better than we hoped for. The garden and pool were perfect to play badminton, table tennis & basketball as well swimming. The kitchen was so well equipped & had everything we could possibly need. The brick barbecue was perfect for cooking chicken, prawns & burgers on. Bedrooms had been designed carefully with ample storage & hanging space. Location to local shops such as Aldi & a pharmacy were a bonus as only a 3 minute walk. Would highly recommend

Exceptional Villa

If you are looking for luxury in Estepona book this. Richard answered our many questions and sorted our Wi-Fi problems within 30 mins. Rebecca the housekeeper was super helpful and gave us quite a few different ideas for teenagers. All in all cannot recommend enough. Stunning setting and very quiet. Everything you could possibly want. We will return. 5**

Family holiday

This was our first holiday as a family since 2019 and it was fabulous. The villa was very spacious and well equipped with a lovely outdoor area around the pool. It worked perfectly for us as a family with 4 children aged between 16 and 22. The villa is on the outskirts of Estepona, but this didn't cause any issues for us. You can walk along the promenade, which is a lovely walk to some nice beaches. We used to get taxis from the hotel opposite to take us to the Port or the Old Town in the evenings. Taxis are reliable and reasonably priced. Overall a great place to stay.

Lovely villa

The villa has superb facilities both inside and outside although, while the excellent pool has steps down in, the depth is 1.5 metres at the shallow end. The range and quality of equipment provision is second to none. Richard the owner was very accommodating and flexible during the +2 pandemic years since we originally booked the villa up until we finally arrived. Every member of my extended family had a brilliant stay after a very long wait. We would strongly recommend the villa and will have no hesitation in returning.

Fabulous

From start to finish our experience was fabulous. Great communication with Richard, who allowed us to enter early on arrival. The instructions to access the Villa were clear and directions were spot on. The Villa is easy to find but difficult to leave as it has everything. Excellent space for 5 adults, using the four en-suite bedrooms meant no “sharing” required. Everything was clean and there was nothing missed as it was like a home from home. The kitchen facilities were great and the sun room onto the garden was where we spent most of our time. Richard , thank you so much for your Villa, it’s on our list of “definitely come here again”!

Building site

Its a lovely villa, all the amenities you cld wish for & property manager was very attentive. But it was in the middle of a building site!! I expect much more for the money we paid. Villa needed some TLC, to the point we couldnt set foot on the main bedroom balcony because the lock was Rusted. Local dogs howling away in night and the pool an absolute mess only cleaned once for our use in 10 days & freezing cold. Happy days

Brilliant villa for families

We have a lovely week at this villa. It’s very well equipped, kitchen has everything you need and more. Pool area lovely and you get the sun all day. Our kids lovely the ping pong and volleyball net. Could do with a few more parasols to offer shade for large groups. Good supermarket a 10 min walk away and a few places to eat but I’d say it much nicer to venture into estapona to the beautiful squares. We got amazing recommendations from Rebecca of where to eat. We got the bus a few nights which we found to be easier than taxis- we struggled with getting them from the villa but easy on way back. We did a day trip into Malaga which was gorgeous and an amazing dolphin boat trip where we saw loads of them! We did have a few issues during our stay but they were dealt with quickly so I really can’t fault Richard or Rebecca. A great place for large groups to stay.

Beautiful Villa

Richard was quick to reply to my questions and very kind to let us have an early check in. The villa is stunning with tons of space and plenty of things to keep the kids busy. The villa is a ten minute drive from Estepona old town, which is beautiful, loved eating out there. Our only complaint would be the pool maintenance guy took a whole day to clean the pool. He left all the cleaning equipment in the pool and disappeared for the day. We mentioned it to Rebecca and she quickly chases him but he didn’t leave till 7pm, so the kids didn’t get to use the pool for a whole day. That would be our only complaint, but over all we had a wonderful time in the villa.

Family Holiday at Villa Paz.

Beautiful well equipped villa, ideal for our family, with 5 bedrooms Lovely pool which was cleaned regularly, with plenty of sun beds and umbrellas, as well as inflatables for our two little grand children under 5. Swing ball and badminton for the adults. Set on an exclusive development, where all properties were individually designed., just to the west of Estepona. A car is essential, as just off a dual carriageway partially without pavements, and not viable to walk around the coast. one minor snag, which wouldn't impact on everyone was the poor tv reception, which in fairness Richard did his best to help us rectify. Indeed on the very few occasions we needed to make contact, advice was immediate. The dogs continually barking next door, was a bit of a nuisance, but didn't impact on us too much, and certainly outside of Richard's control.Overall Villa Paz provided us with a wonderful setting and a holiday which our 3 generations will long remember. Many thanks !!!

Outstanding villa

This is an excellent villa. We had an infant of 21 months and 8 adults. It was the perfect set up. There is a downstairs en suite with a single room next door - perfect for parents and infant. Air conditioning controlled from the larger room, which was perfect. The cot was lovely. We put the stairgate to block going upstairs. This worked perfectly. High chair was great. Access to the pool was via the sun room so you always felt safe that the toddler wouldn’t get there accidentally. Pool was excellent with steps in and lots of outside space with a table tennis table. Lots of pool toys. Great dining area in the sun room and in the open plan kitchen/diner. Kitchen was very well equipped with two fridges and a freezer. There were lots of condiments and herbs etc, which are often missing from villas. And the welcome food was perfect for our needs. Mercadona is a short drive and a new Aldi will be even closer in the next few weeks. There are a few local restaurants and beaches and a wealth of outstanding restaurants are a short drive away. The owner was quick to respond to messages in the run up and Rebecca was very quick to reply to questions whilst we were there. Upstairs there are three further en suite bedrooms. We would highly recommend this villa and intend to return.

Les échanges avec le propriétaire sympathique été simples et fluides.Par contre...si l'intérieur de la maison est globalement satisfaisant, un rafraîchissement serait vraiment nécessaire : quelques fauteuils écaillés, vis manquantes, serviettes avec traces de javel, poubelles de salle de bain abîmées avec traces de rouille, moisissures visibles dans la salle de bain, peinture manquante par endroits, traces sur les murs dans les chambres. Aussi plusieurs objets laissés par d’anciens locataires (déodorant usé, bain de bouche entamé, etc.) donnent une impression peu hygiénique.L’extérieur, lui, mériterait une véritable rénovation et un mobilier plus adapté : bains de soleil très usés, mobilier de jardin vieux et sale, terrasse peu entretenue et sale, lampadaire démonté et posé au sol, gravats dans de gros sacs, bouées qui traînent, tuyau percé, fond de piscine écaillé avec mosaïques manquantes, parasols abîmés et déchirés dont un qui ne fonctionne pas du tout, haie de cyprès à moitié morte,table de ping-pong toute gondolée, etc. Par ailleurs, d’importants travaux de construction autour de la maison ont généré de fortes nuisances sonores, débutant chaque matin à 7h malgré les fortes chaleurs et la période estivale, ce qui a beaucoup impacté le séjour. Dommage, car à cette période de l’année, on vit essentiellement dehors. L’ensemble est vraiment resté “dans son jus” et ne correspond pas, à notre avis, au standing attendu au vu du prix et du titre de l'annonce "Luxe".

Fantastisk hus

Selve huset var vildt fantastisk, der var alt hvad man skulle bruge. Flot indretning og meget flotte værelser og badeværelser. Køkkenet var meget veludstyret og kæmpe stort, der var alt hvad man skulle bruge til madlavningen og mere til. Skøn havestue med udgang til haven og poolen. Udenoms arealerne trænger til en kærlig hånd, der var mange løse fliser på den ene terrasse og grillen trænger til udskiftning. Vi havde en fantastisk uge og kommer gerne igen.

British family owned, previously lived overseas for a number of years, now back living in United Kingdom. The villa was purchased for holidays and eventually retirement. In view of this, we have completely renovated the villa to the high standard we expect ourselves.

Why they chose this property

The property is private and situated in the highly desirable Don Pedro Urbanization. It is on two plots with two entrances (one with electric gate). It is at the edge of the urbanisation and has amazing views towards Gibraltar and the Moroccan coastline. We loved Estepona the minute we came to look for property. The neighbours and people of Estepona are lovely, the food amazing, the weather great, it really was a no-brainer. We hope you will enjoy your stay as much as we do.
