Situated near the entrance of the village of Tabayesco at 1 km from a quiet beach and the fisherman village of Arrieta. Away from the mayor tourist resorts you will find here the typical white villages of Lanzarote, lovely beaches and an exquisite selection of hiking and biking routes.
The house has a livingroom with terrace and views over the coast and the sea.
It offers sittingroom for 4 people.
The high ceilinged kitchen and dining room also offers views over the sea and the surrounding countryside. The kitchen is, well equiped and stocked with essentials like olive oil, vinager, salt, pepper, spices, tea and coffee
The masterbedroom has a large double bed, and apart from the wardrobe, extra storage space for luggage.The other bedroom has 2 single beds, There is a separate toilet with extra wash basin.
The garden which is layed out on different levels, is very private with ample space for sunbathing and a lounging space in the shadow.
Tabayeso is a small village that lies at the foot of the valley of Temisa, a delightful walking area that has been a protected landscape for decades.
In the nearby village of Arrieta you will find a supermarket, a variety of shops, a divingcentre and a fine choice of good restaurants, serving fresh fish and other delicacies.
Nearby you can visit the works of Lanzarote artist Cesar Manrique like the cactus garden at Guatiza and Jameos del Aqua.
It is an excelent region for sports like (wind)surfing kayaking mountainbiking, hang- and paragliding. There is a golf course in Costa Teguise at 15 km.
The old town and harbour area of the capital Arrecife are worth a visit and of course you should not miss the spectacular vulcanic park Timanfaya apart from all the other sports and leisure, culture and nature options the Island has to offer.

Peaceful location

Our host Hillbrand was very helpful and friendly. An excellent base for touring ; we particularly liked Arrieta with all it's amenities including restaurants. We would certainly stay here again.

Quirky rustic upside down house.

Beautiful views looking out to Arrieta and beyond from the north facing top terrace. Sunken garden had sun in different parts for most of the day. Kitchen stocked with essential oil salt pepper tea coffee etc. bed very comfortable Beautiful part of the island

We enjoy our stay. The house is well provided. We missed nothing. Everything was present inside the house: all you need to coock, a quit surrounding, the wifi works well, enough furniture and place to enjoy the sun, a good bed and bathroom, and a discrete and attentive host. The only minor thing is that there is no parkingplace at the house. We can recomand this accomodation!

Great property in quiet location.

The property was easy to find, using the instructions and photos provided by the host. As we were arriving late, we asked if the host could get in some basics for the following morning, before we visited the supermarket. The result was an amazing range of produce ranging from bananas, beer, wine, water, milk, cheese and the list goes on. I have travelled extensively, but I can honestly say this was beyond any expectations. The villa is set on two levels at the end of a pathway from the road, where there was an allocated parking area, sufficient for a small car. The Qashqai we had just fitted. Unusually the bedrooms, bathroom and shower were on the lower floor, with living and cooking areas above, which layout gave vistas to the valley with town and sea in the distance. The villa was adequately furnished for a rental property, with satellite TV, giving access to a mind boggling range of channels in every language. This was actually a niggle as you had so many channels available, trying to find a programme you wanted became tedious, and I never thought I would say that! The bedrooms were cooler, being almost built into the hillside, which, even during the heatwave we experienced, permitted sleep and this was without any fans, though perhaps a fan in the bedrooms and lounge area would have enhanced the experience further. The garden gave sun and shade throughout the day. Suffice to say, we will return sometime in the future.

Die Wohnung ist super ausgestattet, es ist wirklich alles vorhanden. Der Gastgeber ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Das Haus liegt ca. 1km vom Strand und von Arrieta entfernt. Von der schönen Terrasse hat man einen sehr schönen Blick über die gesamte Bucht. Geschäfte und Restaurants in Arrieta sind leicht erreichbar.

Un havre de paix

Nous avons tout adoré dans cette petite maison : - la localisation, tout près d'Arrieta, un charmant village avec une très jolie plage, dans le nord de l'île qui reste sauvage et authentique ; - la terrasse et sa vue magnifique ; - le jardin et ses équipements (nous avons pu manger dehors et faire des barbecues) ; - la maison en elle-même, simple mais très propre, parfaitement équipée et organisée. Il y a d'ailleurs beaucoup de produits de première nécessité (sel, huile, sopalin, etc.), ainsi que des attentions (eau, vin, bières...) très appréciables ; - l'arrivée se fait de façon autonome, mais nous étions en contact avec Cindy pendant toute la durée de notre séjour, et elle a su nous renseigner rapidement quand nous en avions besoin. En bref, je recommande vivement !

Schöner Urlaub in Schöner Unterkunft.

Wir haben so vorgefunden wie es hier beschrieben ist- sehr Schön. Sehr hilfsbereiter und unkomplizierter Vermieter bzw. Seine Stellvertretung. Ein kleines Malheur, durch uns verursacht, wurde schnell und abschließend behoben. Ein Dankeschön für diesen tollen Urlaub.

Genau richtig für einen erholsamen Urlaub

Das Haus liegt in dem kleinen Ort Tabayesco und lädt zur Erholung ein. Wir haben uns sehr gut erholt. Die Ausstattung ist sehr gut; lediglich die Gartenmöbel entsprechen nicht in vollem Umfang mit den auf den Fotos abgebildeten Möbeln. Der Grill war leider nicht gereinigt und noch mit Asche gefüllt.

Tolle Unterkunft mit Wohlfühleffekt

Eine tolle private geschmackvoll eingerichtete Unterkunft in ruhiger Umgebung mit einem freien Blick auf das Meer. Das Objekt ist hervorragend eingerichtet. Maison très agréable avec une superbe vue.

La maison est très lumineuse avec une superbe vue. Elle est très bien équipée avec entre autre une mini chaîne pour écouter de la musique en Bluetooth. Beaucoup de rangements dans la chambre principale. Un beau jardin et 2 terrasses à disposition. Idéalement placée au nord de Lanzarote pour visiter les magnifiques sites.

Privacy and character

House, bathroom and kitchen were well-equipped, with consideration for most needs. The range of cooking utensils and ingredients exceeded expectations. The garden is a delightful space. On foot, as we were, it is a windy walk to the town supermarket for provisions - but we felt that privacy and character of the property was a fair exchange for this.

Upside Down in Tabayesco makes for a fantastic Holiday

A Charming small house ideally located in the north which with its clever upside down design makes the most of the wonderful views to Arrieta, the sea and beyond. The outside veranda, mid-level and sunken garden with BBQ allow you to enjoy all aspects of the weather at all times of the day. Breakfast on the upper veranda each day was a great way to start the day whatever your intentions and plans are for your stay. Beach, cycling, walking, sightseeing to whatever degree are perfect from this location as well as whatever amount of self catering you wish to do. Good restaurants in Arrieta and great tapas in Mala. The cooperative in Haria is well worth a visit and we enjoyed homemade salads - octopus,tuna and paella - as well as butcher and fishmonger on certain days. Unless purely cycling/walking would recommend a car and nowhere of real interest is much more than an hours drive and the roads are well maintained, hence no. of cyclists. We would happily recommend to any of our friends and any return to Lanzarote we would hope that Chalfariz would be available. Although not present during our stay, communication and information from Hilbrand was exceptional as is the accuracy of the information on the website.

We choose this house for it´s priviliged location with undisturbed views in a quiet little village with the beach at a 10 minute walk and shops and restaurants close at hand.
The house hast just been thoroughly refurbished with comfortable furniture and new beds. The lay-out of the garden provides for warm and sunny as well as cool and shadowy areas for any time of day.
A good variety of long and short walks can be started right from your doorstep.
