Rural house in Perigord Sarladais

Charming Sarlat stone house, decorated with flowers, on the heights of a small village in the PĂ©rigord Noir. Extremely calm and sunny.

A former stable, this apartment building, which has been owned by the owner's family for several generations, has been restored in order to convert it into a gĂźte. Its original structure on four levels makes it a cozy place to unwind. The visitor enters the house by the mezzanine on which the kitchen is arranged. A staircase of a few steps leads to the living room below. It accesses the floor by a miller's staircase, to find a room with a double bed and a single bed. The bathroom and WC are separated on the mezzanine.

The exteriors give access to a terrace, and to a garden with built-in barbecue. It is possible to park a vehicle safely in the driveway.

The house is independent, not terraced and overlooks a private alley, dead end. The calm is total.

Cottage for 3 people.

Travelers have access to the entire house as well as the terrace and the garden.

The cottage is located 200 meters from the municipal swimming pool and tennis court, set up in a green theater.

You will be very well positioned in relation to the prehistoric sites, Montignac, Lascaux, Hautefort, Sarlat, Les Eyzies, the VĂ©zĂšre man valley and the Dordogne valley and its castles.

Nous avons Ă©tĂ© plutĂŽt déçu par cette location !Je m'explique, les Ă©quipements proposĂ©s sur l'annonce sont prĂ©sents mais vieillissant ou en mauvais Ă©tat.D'abord la box internet avec wifi n'existe pas ! Vous n'aurez pas internet.Il y a une rĂ©frigĂ©rateur mais il mesure 80cm de haut, il est ĂągĂ©, vous ne mettrez pas grand chose dedans. Il y a une TV mais elle fait 24 pouces avec dĂ©codeur TNT Ă  cĂŽtĂ© aucune chaĂźne n'est rĂ©glĂ©e et elle bourdonne.Il y a un BBQ mais il est rempli de grille rouillĂ©Ă© et de cagette (des neuves sont disponibles dans la grange).Il y a une machine Ă  laver mais elle est dans une grange de l'autre cĂŽtĂ© de l'impasse, le couvercle est rongĂ© par la rouille.L'accĂšs Ă  la chambre se fait par un escalier en excellent Ă©tat mais en haut il faut pencher la tĂȘte pour y accĂ©der.Le toilette est Ă  2 marche plus haut, inutile pour messieurs d'espĂ©rer uriner debout c'est presque impossible, vous avez la tĂȘte dans les combles ! La douche est Ă  2 marches de plus, il est difficile de se doucher sans se cogner (je mesure 1,85m).Le positif : une maison Ă©tonnamment fraĂźche malgrĂ© la canicule durant notre semaine, la partie basse uniquement.Le prix qui dĂ©fit toute concurrence dans cette belle rĂ©gion de Dordogne c'est rarissime !Un merci pour l’accueil chaleureux Ă  l'arrivĂ©e.Également, la propriĂ©taire trĂšs aimable et Ă  l'Ă©coute.Cette location est un choix pour tout petit budget, pour un couple en forme et en bonne santĂ© et peu exigent.

Nous avons pu visiter plusieurs sites de Dordogne, département que nous ne connaissions pas. Nous avons eu la surprise de voir des dénivelés important ,dur pour nos jambes de marcheurs occasionnels. mais que de beaux paysages et les riviÚres qui invitent les canoës. J'ai cherché les canards en champ en liberté surveillée mais....pas un seul! pas la bonne saison sans doute.

Azerat se trouve à 11 km des grottes de lascaux et d autres sites touristiques(grotte, chùteau.) lors des fortes chaleur 4 degrés de moins cela a été fort appréciable. Le jardin est ombrage et trÚs agréable. Le gßte est au calme . Nous sommes accueillis par une personne bien sympathique qui fait son possible pour rendre le séjour agréable. Des torchons et lingettes sont à disposition ainsi que tes d oreillers et taie de traversin. Il y a un lave vaisselle (non précise sur l annonce du site).

Lovely Gite. Idiosyncratically furnished

A really lovely gite in a lovely village, with a convenient garden attached with table, chairs and sun loungers in the afternoon shade. Gite conversion was fine, though some of the equipment was idiosyncratic, with microwave/grill but no oven. Only a two burner hob and unnecessary dishwasher (for 2 people?). 3 steak knives but no butter knives. The dining/living room cupboards were ancient and two of the doors fell off while we were there. We could only get one programme on the TV. Spacious bedroom upstairs with 1 double + 1 single bed and a chair, but only a wardrobe without a dressing table and/or chest of drawers. Bathroom good but toilet very cramped. Enjoyable fortnight once we got used to the idiosyncrasies.
