Lovely accommodation in a nice quiet location. Short walk to beach, shops etc. Very good communication with owners, very attentive. Would definitely like to return!
Lovely house for a family holiday that's convenient for walks to the beach, nearby pubs and restaurants and a short drive from many tourist attractions.
We loved our stay at Moel y Don, gorgeous place within a short walk to the beach. Lovely and quiet, roomy and comfortable, we would definitely stay again! Big plus for us was the garden, also the separate shower as well as bathroom.
Overall, the property suited us, we were three generations and enjoyed a family holiday. The bungalow was spacious and just a short walk to a lovely beach.
It was a really good stay. The property was exactly as described.
Trearddur Bay has a lovely beach and it is a few minutes walk from Moel y Don. Rhoscolyn is a few minutes drive and again a gorgeous beach. We had good weather and spent all days at the beach which the children loved. All in all a lovely holiday. Thank you. X
This is a deceptively spacious bungalow. Having a second toilet and a separate shower room in addition to the family bathroom was a real bonus especially as the shower was a really good one. The garden was lovely, no problem with the furniture (unlike a previous reviewer). Also, we had no problems parking the two cars we had with us. However the comments about the very poor condition of the private road you have to use to access the property are accurate.
There is no freezer and the fridge doesn't even have a small freezer compartment so not being able to make ice cubes or freeze freezer packs for picnics etc was an inconvenience , especially during a heatwave! Another minor inconvenience was the furniture in the master bedroom; a bookshelf but no drawers, a very large desk, no mirrors. Also the bed was incredibly creaky as were many of the doors. Perhaps some WD40 might help.
Overall though, a nice property to stay in. Thank you

A very nice place in a wonderful location - clean and well-equipped. The buts are significant though: the access and parking difficulty, exacerbated by unfriendly neighbours, which would rule it out of contention again, the fact that the owners were variously in Switzerland and Alaska which meant that a problem on arrival: a dreadful stench in the main bathroom, was not dealt with during the stay. A token refund was offered, but has not materialised. Trearrdur Bay is lovely though.
Property was small but tidy and had all the facilities we needed. Was also close to local eateries/pubs. Parking was a little tight in the driveway and we were nervous of upsetting the neighbours having seen previous comments but all was fine. Would recommend the Sea Shanty cafe.
This is a fantastic property, the location is brilliant it's literally a 5 minute walk to the beach. The garden was lovely to enjoy the sun and the cottage was surprisingly spacious. The only addition that would help would be a washing machine but the 2nd shower room and toilet outweigh the benefits! We will most definitely be returning. Thank you
Delightful holiday at Treaddur Bay. Great location just a five minute walk to the beach. Accommodation was clean, spacious and a secure garden ideal for pets or young children!
We loved our holiday and would definitely return. Thankyou
Absolutely brilliant holiday rental, a short walk to town and the beach and in a well placed location to explore further by car. The property had everything we needed for our stay and the bungalow layout worked really well with the kids. They could wander about and enjoy all the spaces including the garden areas which were proper little suntraps! The owner Mike was a great host who was easy to reach if needed, but we didn't need to as he was very thoughtful during our stay. Highly recommended!!!
Such a quick walk to the beach and quiet location. It’s obvious the neighbours would prefer you not to have cars but that isn’t the owners fault.
The garden furniture really needs a good overhaul, and you could smell damp as in previous reviews. As all the nice touches had been removed due to COVID guidelines it did add to a feeling of cold. We felt a little TLC is needed as it’s such a lovely sized property and location.
The bungalow nestles in a lovely quiet location within a 5 min walk to a great beach.
The property itself has a good layout, and has a nice feeling about it.
It was clean and tidy.
Some of the rooms did have a slight musty smell to them. I'd imagine there is some slight damp issues somewhere. The bathroom shower screen, dispite our best efforts, did leak quite badly, with the water disappearing under the bath.
These were relative minor issues which didn't distract from an otherwise lovely week in Wales.
We have stayed here before, the location is ideal for us as we have other family/friends with accommodation in nearby camp sites. End of track, quiet, with secure garden as we have a dog.
We are an outdoors family who enjoy fresh air and excerise. We bought Moel Y Don to enjoy our own holidays. We love it. You can walk to the beaches, shops and pubs withease. Both Louise and Mike are International Mountain Guides.
Why they chose this property
Its an ideal place to spend a relaxing holiday. Its a quiet spot 400m from the main beach at Treaddur Bay. You can walk to shops and pubs and can arrive easily by public transport.
