Along the coast, you can admire the continuous alternation of soft sand and a low rocky coast on the sea, high and steep on the Adriatic coast, low and soft on the Jonian. The inner part of the territory, you can see huge fields of olive trees, interspersed with vineyards, which product fine wines and oils.Who discover the Salento appreciates the magical atmosphere, the many wonders to discover, the hot sun, the blue sky, the cristal sea, the Baroque art. A mix of art, culture, tourism and traditions that makes this land unique for those who live there and great for those who visit it.Trekking: For hikers there are many beautiful trails along the cliffs overlooking the sea, from which you can access the crystal clear sea in many isolated places. These trails and paths were mapped by smugglers of salt that long time agò, gathered salt in the numerous pools of the cliff. This area is famous for this salt routes“vie del sale”and the newspaper" Bellitalia" has even dedicated a special insert in June 2013>Then there is that part of Greece called Grecia Salentina: situated in the heart of the Salento peninsula is an area where lives a community that preserves the language, culture and traditions of Greek origin.
