We had a fantastic two weeks here. The property is absolutely amazing, more chateau than holiday house, I think they said 17th century, it's huge set in large grounds in a peaceful rural location. We took an inflatable dinghy and the kids enjoyed boating along the river with the kingfishers. The property is in a great location for beaches at Les Conches and La Tranche-sur-Mer as well as places like O'fun, O'Gliss and Puy Du Fou. We did all those but some days chose to stay and relax at the fabulous house. We enjoyed eating out on an evening by the side of the river. Communication with the owners was great. If your looking to get away to rural France in a unique property within close proximity to beaches and other activities I can't recommend it highly enough.
