Seville: 2 Couples, 5 nights

Personally greeted by Alejandra and shown the apt and parking, a short distance away. No need to drive from this great location as all is close and very walkable inside the old walls. Close to everything- groceries, bars and cafés. 2xBR over 3 levels. Alejandra even help book our first night resto just down the street.

WOW WOW WOW ! Amazing accomodation

From the moment I had contact with Alejandra I realised how special this place must be to her. An absolutely stunning property decorated to the highest level with keeping the original Spanish feel with a modern twist stunning or in Alejandra’s words Bonita ! A fantastic Spanish cafe right opposite perfect for a strong cafe con Leche ( not my usual but when in Spain ) a simple breakfast of toast and jam or ham toastie with olive oil ! Or wander down side streets for breakfast or dinner tapas or coffee! Perfect location for sight seeing bus only 5 min walk to stop .i would only agree with other guests that if you have difficulty with stairs or young children this place is probably not for you as some steep staircases on a few levels . But the roof top terrace was perfect. There is underground parking which is not common in the area so perfect for Alejandra’s guests . Finally a huge thank you to Alejandra for communicating so well when I don’t speak Spanish and she doesn’t speak English you were an amazing host !

Spacious and beautiful apartment

We spent 2 nights here and found the apartment just as the photos showed... tastefully decorated, spotlessly clean and spacious. It is in a great location and we were able to walk everywhere. Alejandra was a delightful host who despite not speaking English and us not speaking Spanish was able to demonstrate everything we needed to know in the apartment. I would highly recommend this apartment as a base for exploring Seville.

Spacious, elegant home with terrace close to centre of Seville. Highly recommended.

This an elegant, comfortable and spotless apartment facing the small Santa Marina plaza in the heart of trendy Macarena. The apartment has 3 levels connected by staircases. The 2 large bedrooms are on level 1 and level 3 and are separated by a modern kitchen and very large salon on level 2. Each bedroom has its own modern bathroom. This makes the apartment ideal for 2 couples who want privacy. On level 3 there is a beautiful terrace with views to the old church opposite and down to the small plaza below (where there is a convenient bar that closes at 20:00 and then opens for breakfast).The terrace (and the bar) makes a great space in which to relax after a day sight-seeing in Seville, the centre of which is about a 20 minutes walk away. The salon has 3 French windows that open to small balconies. All windows on level 1 and 2 have shutters to screen light and noise. The beds and furnishings are of a very high standard. Alejandra, the host speaks Spanish and French, but is adept in communicating with anyone (and happy to use Google Translate!). We don't speak French or Spanish but had absolutely no problems. Alejandra is a warm, charming and non-intrusive host who lives next door. She was there to greet us and gave us a very good bottle of red wine from Ronda! There was fruit and water waiting for us. She really is one of the nicest HomeAway hosts we have met (and we have used HomeAway many times). Macarena itself is of great interest. It is just north of Seville centre so all the well-known sites there are easily accessible. There are fewer of us tourists in Macarena but there are many good restaurants and bars. There are many young families so there is a lively and vibrant feel to this old neighbourhood . It has all the facilities like supermarkets. We highly recommend this apartment and hope to return one day. Thanks Alejandra!

Friendly host and very nice appt.

We had a very nice stay in a beautifyl appt. The host was enormous willing and informative. Rhe only thing is. The landlord only speaks french or spanisch. The rooms very spacieus and clean. Prety near the center of the old town. Everything within walking distance. Absolute reconmandation.

Two gems in one place - the apartment and Alejandra. Great location and lovely clean apartment. Alejandra was helpful informative and also always quick to respond to any questions or queries we had. She even organised our taxi to the station on last day. Definitely recommend.

Beautiful home in a great location

The home was very clean with beautiful updates and decor. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was small but well equipped. The owner was very helpful and kind. Everything looks like the pictures. The only thing I would want people to be aware of is that this home has multiple levels with some steep and open stairs which would be unsafe for small children or elderly people with arthritic knees.

Alejandra’s Vrbo is just beautiful

The property is immaculate. Several levels, many stairs. Beautiful floors, windows onto the street, a terrace—perfect for Semana Santa (although I shouldn’t advertise that, since we want to come back). Two bedrooms, two baths, a small but adequate kitchen, a lovely, tasteful sitting area. Excellent art on the walls. Alejandra is gracious and solicitous, providing us with many informative flyers and maps—not to mention the well-stocked kitchen. We mentioned to each other many times how lucky we were to have found this lovely place. Thank you Alejandra!

Wow! Well located walking distance to everything!

Wow well located in heart of all attractions. Walking to every visiting site no need for taxis. The place is nice and clean. When you using the room upstairs there’s a few stairs to climb. The terrace is nice and full sun if you want or dhade that can be used. Alejandra was very helpful and available all the time. She explained must see’s and gave us directions, maps, cost sheet, etc. Totally recommend!

Wonderful stay in Seville

Alejandra's apartment was a wonderful place to stay in Seville. We were 4 adults, travelling by car, and very much appreciated the included garage space. The apartment is tastefully decorated and looks out over a 13th century church. The rooftop terrace was lovely. The kitchen was well-equipped. Only one caveat, those with mobility issues will have difficulties, as the apartment has many levels to climb. We loved ut!

Lovely apartment in Seville

The apartment has so much Spanish charm and is decorated beautifully. It is located near 3 gorgeous old churches. It is also very near the wonderful restaurant Contenedor. It is a nice walk to the Cathedral and the Alcazar area. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the parking was convenient as well. The hostess was wonderful and even though we spoke no Spanish we we able to communicate well

Excellent Location, and Spotlessly Clean!

Alejandra was such a gracious host. Very proactive and responsive. Her place is very central within old Seville and easy walking distance to everything you might want to see. Alejandra's place is also spotlessly clean and shows pride of ownership as well. It was very comfortable. There are a lot of stairs, and this was a minor issue for my elderly mother-in-law, so she was not able to enjoy the terrace. Also, be sure to bring your own ground coffee (no grinder or drip coffee maker), if you want coffee in your room - however there is a great local cafe right outside your door. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend it.

Lovely apartment with old world views

We enjoyed our stay. The view was fantastic and the neighborhood had grocery, and excellent restaurants and tapas bars right outside the door. Alejandra has excellent taste in decor and art. It was quiet. We think the quality of the restaurants was much better than in the center of the major tourist areas. It is only a 20 minute walk to all of the sights and places that Seville is known for. Alejandra is an excellent and thoughtful host. There were traditional Christmas sweets and fruit waiting for us. We do have to say that the apartment itself has a lot of stairs. If you have balance issues or struggle with narrow stairs perhaps this is not the right place. The bigger bedroom and a bathroom are on the ground floor, no stairs. That being said, we would highly recommend this apartment.

Beautiful Downtown Sevilla Home

No need for a car, when we stayed at this lovely house. It is centrally located, with restaurants, bars and the beauty of Sevilla just steps away. It was the perfect location. The house was very comfortable, and beautifully decorated, and spacious. Many windows to open up to the activities going on in the streets below, but shutters did a wonderful job keep noise at bay. Our host, Alejandra, gets top marks for great communication. She answered all our questions in a timely manner, offered suggestions on sites in the neighbourhood, and kept in touch in case we needed anything. The house was very welcoming when we arrived, where we were able to meet Alejandra and she provided a plentiful bowl of fresh fruit. This house was exactly what we needed in Sevilla, to experience the city as if we lived there, and we would highly recommend it.

Comfortable, clean and conveniently located

This property was an entire house and conveniently located . The host met us and although language was challenging. she was very helpful. The car park is covered and located nearby. The house was clean and had a lovely balcony at the top floor. It should be noted that it is 3-storey property without a lift. Overall, a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Estadia top em sevilha

A estadia na casa foi muito boa ,a casa é limpinha muito bem decorada e tem tudo o que se precisas, fica a uns minutos a pé de qualquer local de sevilha. Ter garagem é uma grande vantagem pois podemos deixar lá o carro e ter andando sempre a pé. A Alejandra explicou varias coisas de SEvilha e ainda nos deixou uns mimos (fruta). Aconselho e espero voltar um dia
