Good host. Always available. House is nice And in good working order. Only suggestion, too many keys in one keychain. Make one with 3 or 4 that are most used. Thanx Manuel
Nice place to relax
If you are looking for a beautiful house with sea view and lots of possibilities to relax this is the right place to stay. A lot of hammocks invite you to calm down and to read your books you always wanted to read. Also you will find a lot of games and the kitchen is very well equipped to cook your favorite plates. Unfortunately you can't swim in the sea right to your next door but there are beaches more or less close to the house. We enjoyed Playa Rosada, a really beautiful beach, and playa montanita which is very famous for their party's. But you can find corners far away from the party people. To go to this beaches it's necessary to have a car because it's far away to go there. But there must be opportunities to catch the public bus. During the stay Don Pablo will take care of the house, he's very friendly and helps you in everything.
So just stay, relax and enjoy!
The immediate area around the house is very quiet and it is not very built up. The sea is a 5 minute walk away, with a lovely long beach and strong waves - good for surfing! If you prefer calmer waters for swimming there is a small bay just a 15 minute walk away (or a one minute bus ride if it is very hot). There is a small local shop which stocks the basics - drinks, snacks etc.
The main town of Santa Elena is just a 10 minute drive away and there are all facilities there. A new shopping complex ( including a supermarket) diagonal to the Santa Elena buses terminal was open in November 2015.
Frequent buses run along the main road which is just 5 minutes walk away. These go to Santa Elena terminal, or in the other direction run up the coastal road to the north for a long way. So it is easy to visit other beaches or popular places such as Montanita or Salinas. It is easy to get to our place from Guayaquil on public transport too - just a couple of hours away.
If you have your own transport then all of these places are very easily accessible - it is just a 20 minutes drive to Salinas and 40 minutes to Montanita.
