A lovely clean and modern apartment in the perfect traditional village setting
Andrea met us on arrival to welcome us to Trevignano Romano and his lovely apartment located within a few steps of the piazza. The apartment was perfect for us and with Andrea's guidance and local knowledge we were able to discover a region in Italy new to us.
Perfect for relaxation, a local taste of Italy and convenient for exploring the region.
It was a pleasure to meet Andrea and his lovely family, who did everything to make our stay perfect. We would definitely recommend this property. Grazie mille Andrea.
I want to tell you it is a pleasure to know that my efforts to make you a happy holiday are appreciated. My wife greets you so much and know that you will always be welcome here in #relaxinpiazzetta .
Such a Relaxing Holiday
Trevignano Romano is truly a little piece of heaven, nestled at the side of Lake Bracciano, about 50km North of Rome.
We stayed at Andrea and Fabiana’s apartment for a week, late August 2017 and found it to be nothing short of delightful. Andrea was the perfect host, providing us with a huge amount of information about the local village and the surrounding areas – he even offered to take us into Rome on his way into work!
The apartment itself is simply idyllic. It is a well-proportioned residence with all the facilities that you would wish for, but the most noticeable thing that sets it aside is the cleanliness – it is spotlessly clean! The bedroom is air-conditioned, the bathroom is of a good size and the kitchen/living room is well laid out. That said, the best part of the apartment is the balcony; offering spectacular views over the Lake. We took in the sun in the early morning whilst eating breakfast and enjoyed the much-needed shade in the late afternoon.
Andrea’s apartment is truly deserving of a 5-Star rating. We loved this place so much that we’re definitely going to book again for next year!
For those Brits looking for a relaxing holiday a little off the beaten track, I strongly suggest that you give this area (and the apartment) a try – just don’t tell everyone. We found the locals to be really friendly and very accommodating and that there weren’t many Brits around at all (most of the locals speak good English which we were very grateful for).
The local restaurants were superb although most of the menus were in Italian only (as you’d expect); some did have English translations. I’d recommend visits to La Palma for the most perfect Pizza by the Lakeside, Gens Trebonia for some really special dishes and a bottle of wine on the jetty at La Vela. Also worthy of mention is Il Pab – a local pub serving 12 Craft Ales and a plethora of other alcoholic beverages.
In a nutshell we simply loved this place. Communication from Andrea before and during our stay was first class. All of our questions were answered quickly and completely – I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Andrea and Fabiana’s apartment to anyone.
La struttura ricettiva #relaxinpiazzetta l'esprime gratitudine per il suo giudizio. Arrivederci a presto da Trevignano Romano sul Lago di Bracciano.
Nice apartment in the heart of trevignano romano
Spotlessly clean apartment with one bedroom and nice big balcony. Location is excellent next to piazza. Few minutes from beach and all services. Suits well for a family as baby equipment was provided. Thank you for a great stay.
An infinite thank you.
We will be grateful to welcome you again.
Trevignano Romano was an important Etruscan settlement, as evidenced by the numerous cemeteries that extend for about three kilometers behind the village of today, who have yielded interesting finds preserved today at the Civic Archaeological Museum.
In 387 a. C. with the conquest of Veii and Caere, the Sabatino territory came under the control of the Romans, who built numerous villas. One that is linked to the history of Trevignano is the abode of the Gens Trebonia that, according to some, brought about the change of the name of Sabate in Trebonianum from which the current drift Trevignano.
Rich in its past, today Trevignano welcomes visitors with its picturesque medieval town and a nice leafy lakefront.
Of the three countries bordering on Lake Bracciano Trevignano it is more elegant and with a 'good exposure to the sun.
The small town lies in the Regional Natural Park of Bracciano and Martignano where you can still breathe clean air.

Regional Natural Park of Bracciano Martignano
The park well represents the typical volcanic landscape that covers much of the hillsides north of the capital. At the turn of the provinces of Rome and Viterbo, it includes the two homonymous lakes whose surface with a total of six thousand hectares alone covers about 40% of the park. Lake Bracciano, by far the most extensive, is a reservoir of water of great importance for the city of Rome, which shall be used during any emergency.
