Surrounded by nature - very charming house with character - wide flowered garden - 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms. Very well located, near ocean and many golf courses. Many cycle lanes nearby. Modern and design decor and equipped. Large flat screen TV - US fridge - First class electricals (Miele brand). One summer dining-room in a closeby oak. Tennis table.
We have another house ***(renovated barn) for rent - for 2 to 5 people - on the same property (500 feet away)- See Homelidays: Town MESSANGES then advert n° 87236. Jusk ask us if interested.

Wonderful

We had a great time in Gérald's beautiful house. Nicely reformed, preserving the rustic character of the building, large garden, quiet location, fully equipped with modern appliances. We enjoyed our stay from the first to the last day and consider going again. Gérald is the perfect landlord, giving recommendations and being helpful all around. Wonderful holidays!

Charmant séjour au calme de la verdure à ne pas manquer

Belle maison décorée avec soin et entourée d'un très grand et beau jardin (dont un superbe figuier) au calme de l'agitation de la côte. Une belle pièce à vivre autour du poêle et de la cheminée. Tout le confort espéré et tout l'électro-ménager nécessaire. Proche du centre de messanges ou de la côte en qqs coups de pédales. Hôte charmant et disponible, amoureux de la région et de la nature environnante. Seul petit bémol, la hauteur des chambres du haut sous le toit mais largement suffisante pour nos enfants de 8 & 12 ans. Nous recommandons mille fois cette maison. Merci encore pour ce séjour.

Nous avons été accueillis chaleureusement par le proprietaire et avons été séduits immédiatement par cette magnifique maison loft qui vous invite à vous poser et profiter de l instant présent dans le calme le plus absolu. Vous vous réveillez le matin et faites le tour de la propriété, pieds nus, un petit café à la main afin de surprendre quelques pts lièvres ou faisans sans oublier les quelques pts bolets sous les chênes que vous cueillerez pour l omelette du soir. Un pt feu ds le poêle, un bouquin, la famille et vous voilà les plus heureux sur terre. Merci pour ce lieu magique et votre accueil, nous reviendrons. Famille Deschamps

Sehr hochwertiges Ferienhaus - sehr zu empfehlen!

Wir waren 8 Personen (4 Erwachsene und 4 Kinder). Das Ferienhaus war optimal für zwei Familien mit Kinder. Das Haus ist sehr hochwertig eingerichtet und lädt vom ersten Moment zum Entspannen ein. Der zugehörige Grundstück ist sehr großzügig und war somit ideal für die Kinder. Ebenfalls sehr schön war der Feigenbaum im Garten, der voller süßer Feigen hin - ganz toll! Der Vermieter spricht sehr gutes Englisch und ist sehr freundlich. Er ist sehr gut auf Gäste vorbereitet. Er hat im Haus eine Mappe zusammengestellt mit regionalen Anlaufpunkten (Supermarkt, Arzt, Ausflugszielen, ...). Sehr toll. Wir würden das Haus jederzeit wieder buchen und es ist seinen Preis wert!

Ausgezeichnet!!!

Wir haben eine wunderschöne Woche in diesem phantastischen und liebevoll restaurierten Haus verbracht. Viel Platz für alle in Küche, Wohnzimmer, Schlafzimmer und Garten. Alle Zimmer sind sehr geschmackvoll und hochwertig eingerichtet. Wir vermissten nichts und auch die Küche war komplett und vollständig ausgestattet; alles war sehr sauber. Die ganze Familie hat sich sehr wohlgefühlt und auch die Umgebung ist wunderbar zum Wandern oder für Spaziergänge. Die weitläufigen Strände von Messange und Vieux-Boucau-les-Bains sind leicht mit dem Auto zu erreichen und phantastisch zum Relaxen und Surfen. In Messange bzw. Vieux-Boucau-les-Bains findet man eine komplette Infrastruktur, Bäcker, Metzger, Supermarkt, Restaurant, etc. Die gesamte Abwicklung war einwandfrei und Gerard ist uns mit vielen Tipps und Ratschlägen zur Seite gestanden. Wir fühlten uns sehr willkommen. Wir können das Haus uneingeschränkt weiter empfehlen.

ein wunderschoenes Ferienziel

Wir freuen uns immer wieder, wenn wir unsere Ferien in diesem ausgesprochen angenehm eingerichteten Haus verbringen duerfen (in diesem Jahr zum 4. Mal). Das Haus ist geraeumig, in gedeckten Farben dekoriert und sehr sauber gehalten. Unser Lieblingsraum ist das Elternschlafzimmer mit der grossen Badewanne. Unsere 4 KInder lieben die Schlafplaetze in der ersten Etage. Es fehlt an nichts: die Kueche ist sehr gut ausgestattet, es gibt mehrere Tische zum Zusammensitzen, einen schoenen Wohnzimmerbereich mit Kaminofen fuer kuehlere Abende. Der Aussenbereich des Hauses ist phantastisch. Eine grosse Wiese fuer die Kleinen, Sonnenliegen fuer die Grossen (auch moeglich im Schatten unter dem grossen Feigenbaum), eine sehr schoene Terasse fuer gemeinsame Mahlzeiten und natuerlich fuers 'gouter', ein schattiges Tischtennis fuer alle uebrigen..Es ist alles da!..Das Haus liegt im uebrigen sehr ruhig, angrenzend an ein riesiges Maisfeld vor einem Nadelwald. Mit dem Fahrrad sind es auf der sicheren "Piste Verte" weniger als 20 Minuten zum Strand, einen Fahrradverleih gibt es im Ort. Der Strand von Messanges ist sehr schoen da unbebaut. Nur von einem einzigen kleinen Restaurant auf der Hoehe der Duene kann man die Kinder beim Surfen und Bodyboarding anschauen. Die Vermieter sind sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit und helfen mit, dass man sich von der ersten Minute an wirklich in Ferien fuehlt.

Schönes Haus auf großzügigem Grundstück

Familie mit drei Kindern (4,10,18) für 3 Wochen. Für 5 Nächte Besuch von 3 Erwachsenen. Das Haus: umgebaute Scheune mit recht viel Platz, relativ große Küche mit recht guter Ausstattung und sehr modernen und guten Geräten und sonst akzeptabler Ausstattung. Vielleicht fehlt ein großer Topf und eine große Schüssel. Insgesamt ist das Haus recht gemütlich. Schlafzimmer ausreichend groß, mäßig Schrankplatz. Die Bäder sind im EG in den Schlafzimmern integriert - mäßig praktisch. Im OG ein abgeschlossenes Zimmer mäßig ausgestattet und zwei Betten auf einer nicht abgeschlossenen Galerie - eher nicht gut zu benutzen. Das OG ist sehr hellhörig und Toilette und Bad eigentlich nur Notlösungen - deswegen ist das Haus für zwei Familien nicht zu empfehlen. Insgesamt 5-6 gut nutzbare Schlafplätze. Das Grundstück: sehr viel Platz, auch zum Spielen, eher nicht einsehbar. Der Sitzplatz vorm Haus ist gut nutzbar, wenn auch etwas spartanisch ausgestattet. Eigentlich sehr schöner weiterer Sitzplatz im Nebengebäude aber ebenfalls recht spartanisch ausgestattet. Sehr praktischer Schuppen, auch zum Unterstellen von Rädern. Das Grundstück liegt etwas außerhalb von Messanges - zum zentralen Platz mit dem Rad 10 min. 2 Strassen (eine sehr, die nähere mäßig befahren) sind in Abhängigkeit vom Wind ziemlich hörbar. Fazit: im Vergleich zu vielen anderen Objekten in Messanges (war unser 10. Urlaub dort) guter Kompromiss mit ansprechender Ausstattung, schönem Grundstück, etwas außerhalb aber nicht weit weg. Der Preis in der Hochsaison ist (sehr) hoch, die Erwartung an die Qualität des Hauses wurde deswegen nicht ganz erfüllt. Das Preisniveau ist dort aber insgesamt sehr hoch. Wir können uns einen weiteren Aufenthalt aber vorstellen.

Das Haus entspricht genau...

Das Haus entspricht genau der Beschreibung. Die Ausstattung ist sehr gut, es war alles vorhanden, was man braucht, um eine Superurlaub zu verbringen. Unsere zwei Kinder haben den grosszügigen Garten mit den vielen Spielmöglichkeiten sehr geschätzt. Das Haus liegt sehr ruhig und man kann sich bestens vom Alltagsstress erholen. Die Strände und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind sehr gut mit dem Auto oder dem Fahrrad erreichbar. Wir haben unsere Ferien extrem genossen und hoffen nächstes Jahr wieder zurückzukehren. Der Vermieter isf sehr hilfsbreit und unkompliziert.

Cette charmante maison et son indéniable confort nous ont un peu consolés d'une météo assez calamiteuse pendant notre séjour en juin. M. et Mme G. savent qu'une maison doit avoir une âme, même en location... C'est le cas ici, sans aucun doute. Soucieux du bien être de leurs locataires, ils savent être réactifs en cas de besoin. De plus, le jardin arboré est très agréable, sans vis-à vis et permet d'apprécier un quartier très calme. Nous aimerions beaucoup y revenir...

"A high standard home built recently with style and tradition. Attention has been paid to details and we appreciated both the landlord's welcome and availability. The peaceful surroundings and generous grounds are a stone's throw away from the cycle strip leading to the beach in a 15mn ride. At the doorstep of the Landes forest and with local amenities at hand. Our four children had a great time, from mushrooms hunting to hide & seek parties, ping pong competitions, water hose showers or finding quiet retreats to read after a full day on the beach and surfing. We appreciated the spacious parental suite, the large lounge and reception table supported by a fully equipped kitchen."
