Fabulous

My wife and myself had a short break with our pet dog. The house and location exceeded our expectations. Sebastians parents greeted us and made us welcome. The location is exceptional as is the accommodation.

Great spot in a nice area

The hosts were very nice left us brioche and homemade jam as a welcome. The back garden is small but a nice little oasis and a sun trap. The house is like a home not a seaside rental. The bed was comfortable. Nearby there are shops, bars/restos and the port in walking distance. The beach is about a mile but very walkable and there is a quieter beach through the woods. Plenty of local sites like the oyster farms and Talmont-Saint-Hilaire chateau if you don’t want to go far. Would recommend the hosts, the house and the location

A truly French home from home

From the moment you see this wonderful property from the front gate, you just know that you're going to love it. From the first step inside the front door, you can feel it's a treasured and well cared for family home. The property manages to offer a look inside an older style home but yet offers all the expected modern day amenities. We have great respect for the owners allowing and trusting guests to look after and appreciate their belongings. Outside space was well thought out and furnished too. Very many thanks to Stephanie and Dominique for looking after us.

Gorgeous French Property

This gorgeous French property, had a wonderful homely feel. Full of charm, we felt like we were guests at a family home, as we were surrounded with all the host’s beautiful possessions. The garden is a little sun trap, and gardeners paradise, so pretty. The house is set in a fabulous position, a minutes walk to a great pub and restaurants and a few small shops which include a bakery. The beach is a short drive or if you are fit you could walk it. The hosts, who live next door, are absolutely charming, so helpful and kind. Madam had left us same stunning homemade apricot jam and brioche, such a lovely welcoming touch. We can’t thank them enough for a fantastic stay at this wonderful unique holiday home.

Ein wunderschönes, romantisches Häuschen mit traumhaftem Garten. Die Küche ist hervorragend ausgestattet und lädt zum Kochen ein. Die Gastgeber sind sehr liebenswürdig und haben uns frische Mirabellen gebracht! Gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten vor Ort und wenn man mal nicht kochen möchte, kann man sehr gut im Bistro um die Ecke essen. Vielen Dank für den entspannten, schönen Aufenthalt! Bises! :-)

Ein schönes Haus mit Garten und Terasse

Ein gut ausgestattetes Haus, in dem es an nichts fehlt. Auch im Freien gibt es viele verschiedene Möglichkeiten, sich zu entspannen. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Zum Bäcker sind es nur ein paar Schritte und auch zum Meer ist der Weg so kurz, dass er gut zu Fuß oder mit dem Fahrrad zu bewältigen ist. Wir haben unsere Zeit rundum genossen und würden hier jederzeit wieder Urlaub machen.

Sehr schönes Ferienhaus nicht weit vom Strand

Ein superschönes Ferienhaus, perfekt und sehr individuell eingerichtet. Der komplett eingezäunte Garten ist liebevoll mit vielen Pflanzen gestaltet, bietet viele Sitzmöglichkeiten sowohl im Schatten als auch in der Sonne. In der Küche fehlt es an nichts, großes Wohnzimmer mit Esszimmer, Badezimmer mit Waschmaschine und 1 Schlafzimmer im EG. Im OG, auch über Außentreppe zu erreichen, weitere Schlafgelegenheiten, Toilette / Waschbecken und kleiner Balkon. Alles sehr sauber und gepflegt und liebevoll dekoriert. Zum Strand ca. 3 Minuten mit dem Auto, sehr schöner Sandstrand, separater Abschnitt auch für Hunde (ca. 7 Minuten zu Fuß vom Parkplatz aus durch den Wald). In direkter Nachbarschaft: kleiner Supermarkt, Bäckerei, Bar und Restaurants. Sehr nette Betreuung durch die Vermieter, die gleich nebenan wohnen und ständig erreichbar sind, sonst aber sehr diskret sind. In der näheren Umgebung viele Ausflugsmöglichkeiten, z. B. La Rochelle, Les Sables D'Olonne, diverse Schlösser. Alles in allem eine sehr empfehlenswerte Unterkunft in einem sehr schönen Teil Frankreichs. Klare Empfehlung.
