An excellent apartment in Verona

My sister and I loved our brief, 3-day stay in this delightful and spacious 2-BR, 2-bathroom apartment in Verona. Although outside the old city, staying here allowed us to see the pattern of daily life in this great city. Travel into the old town was easy to achieve by bus when we were in a hurry, or on foot to get exercise. Gloria was a superb host, who met us and provided us with excellent advice about the apartment, local services, transport options and timetables, and places to see. She cheerfully made herself available to answer any queries or assist with taxi booking. Her son assisted by taking our luggage up the 2 flights of stairs. The apartment was so comfortable and we slept well. We really appreciated having our own private balcony space with table and chairs to enjoy the sun. I would definitely recommend this apartment to friends and family who wanted some space and to explore more than downtown.

"Villa Gloria was our fir...

"Villa Gloria was our first weeks accommodation in Italy and it was just glorious. Verona itself is a great town and the villa allows you to walk comfortable to the old town centre in 10 -15 minutes stroll, or start touring around the area with out any traffic hassles. Villa Gloria is only surpassed by our host - Gloria herself. She made our stay a real treat."

Gloria is a great host. The house was very comfortable and in a quiet neighborhood. It helps to have a spot to park a car. The garden is charming. Gloria gave us great recommendations for food options. It was a nice touch to meet Gloria in person. We would definitely stay again

Wonderful villa and excellent host

My spouse and I recently traveled through Italy and stayed in this gorgeous villa for 2 weeks. The villa is gated, and the rental property is located on the top floor. It's a very clean and spacious place, with a rooftop terrace that overlooks the safe and quiet neighborhood. You will also have access to the washing machine in the garage. In addition, you can park your car at the property driveway, which is a nice bonus, as parking outside on the streets could be rather challenging. If you also plan to visit beautiful spots around Verona (like lake Garda or Dolomites) I recommend renting the car at the train station (Autovia). There is no need for the car if you plan to explore only Verona, as the city buses run quite reliably, and you could get to the city center from the villa in 20 min. Gloria is a fantastic host, she welcomed us at the place, and gave us numerous tips that helped us navigate the city (and the villa). She responded to our inquiries via whatsap within minutes, and did everything (and beyond) to help us enjoy Veneto area. We are seasoned travelers, but we could not find any cons; the whole experience was enjoyable! We highly recommend this property, and we are sure that you will be pleased with that choice.
