About this property

MTR is a perfect starting point to Alexander Valley and Dry Creek wineries and a short walk to the banks of Russian River where you can float, kayak, paddle board or just lay in the sun.
Nested on Fitch Mountain, MTR is in the heart of nature. You are close enough to downtown Healdsburg (less than 10 mins by car) yet far away to enjoy some peace and quiet.

Enjoy a glass of wine while taking in the exquisite views from the backyard in a very quiet and relaxing environment.

Our elegant 3 story-home is limited to 6 overnight guests. There is a total of 3 bedrooms, 2 with queen size beds, and one bedroom with 2 twin beds (each room is on a separate floor which provides more privacy)
Our gourmet contemporary kitchen is fully equipped for the chefs among you. Our 3 ovens make cooking multiple dishes a much easier task. Off the kitchen is a cute breakfast nook area for 4.

The open living / dining area at the top level makes it perfect to gather around a meal with friends or family. Enjoy your own space with a separate bedroom / bathroom area downstairs (middle level). The 3rd room (lowest level) is off the 2nd bedroom and shares a master bath that is located in the 2nd bedroom. Please note that in order to access the 3rd bedroom you must do so from the 2nd bedroom vus a set of stairs.
Our garage has been converted into a very fun game room which includes a pool/ping pong table.

There are activities to interest everyone, from swimming, to winery tours, hiking, biking, kayaking, playing games in our garage, and the myriad of top restaurants in town. Healdsburg historic plaza is a great place to start your day for a cup of coffee or to end it by visiting one of the many wine tasting rooms and restaurants.

River: (Open from memorial day weekend in May to September!)
Del Rio beach is less than a 10/15 minutes’ walk downhill from our home. The walk back to the house is uphill so be prepared. The parking is open but it gets full fairly rapidly so go early (you could pack your car with beach items and leave it there for the day and just walk / float down when ready. It's always so nice to have the car at the parking lot after a long day at the river.

We love our backyard and the coziness of our home. We love hanging out in downtown Healdsburg yet get a complete different experience when we come home. We are convinced you will enjoy it as much as we do.

- This is a 3 level home so there are LOTS OF STEPS which may not be ideal for someone with mobility issues or young children.
- It's a one way windy road to get to our home from Fitch mountain road.
- There is a minimum of 1 week stay for major holidays (thanksgiving, Christmas etc...)
- You do need a car to get around.
- There is off-street parking for 3 cars right in front of our home

Cozy spot for Christmas

The house is cozy and cute. Very well stocked kitchen, better than most. The stairs to get up to the house were a bit challenging with all the things we had to bring for Christmas. It's out the river a ways and very quiet.

Mountain hideaway

Lovely home tucked into the side of a mountain. An easy drive to Healdsburg. Clean, incredibly well stocked, hiking trails outside the door. We had a wonderful stay.

Amazing place to stay outside Healdsburg!

This place looks even better than the photos! We loved the location being so close to Downtown Healdsburg but was in a quiet setting up in the hills! Our hosts were so welcoming and responsive. Would definitely recommend this property for a family or group of friends!

Hilltop stay

We had a great time at this property. The host was quick to respond to our questions. The house was clean and well-stocked. It was within 10-15 minutes to anything we needed during our stay and very conveniently located for the sites and activities that we chose to do.

Great weekend in wine country

We had a wonderful stay in the house. The kitchen, living room, and bedrooms are very well set up. The deck is lovely. Renters should be aware that the twin bedroom is only accessible through the master bedroom and that parking is alongside a narrow road. Neither issue was a big problem for our group but may be relevant for others. Otherwise, great option for weekend in wine country!
