The house is very eclectic and more suited for adults which means we don't normally rent to guests with small children. Please note we have strict occupancy rules and you will be charged for extra guests. We also don't allow any pets on the property. For parking we have one space available on the deck and sometimes there is a spot across the street too. Additional parking in located at the bottom of the hill.

Beautiful property right in the heart of the redwoods. Close to main street but car would be handy.

A bit tricky to find although the instructions from the owner were fairly clear. Owner was generally attentive although there was no instructions for the WiFi. However it didn't take too long to make contact and get them from the owner. Great Roadhouse at the bottom of the street with an outdoor pool if the weather is right. Close to river too (5-10 minute walk) if you feel like swimming. Town is great and close by car. Nice cafes, great secondhand bookshop, cinema and a good supermarket. Highly recommend staying at this property.

The property was fine, as advertised. But, do not expect to get your $250 refundable deposit back. Don’t even expect to get an answer to questions about it. We actually left the property in better condition than we found it, with a hairdryer and cookie sheet we purchased for it. I feel like they simply stole my money, and they don’t have any interest in righting the wrong.

Redwood retreat

We are all readers and game players and the lighting in the unit was not good for either of those activities. Very noisy early morning neighbor below us that was outside yelling each morning between 5 and 6 am that woke us daily. Good location otherwise.

Beautiful and comfortable.

Great location., but the house can be difficult to find in the dark. Beautiful home. 3 private bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. Full kitchen Not a place for kids. Stairs to the lower bedrooms. Clean. Private.

Incredible stay.

The cabin is incredibly beautiful and made for a really comfortable, relaxing stay. There's light throughout - so many skylights! The cabin was clean and had everything I needed. Highly recommend.

Perched on a hill overlooking the redwoods, the Bohemian Retreat has been updated with a modern eclectic style with beautiful furnishings and a great room with a glass wall which gives you the feeling your living in the tree tops. Originally built in the 1920's this cabin has been updated and decorated to accommodate up to six guests. The Bohemian Retreat has three comfy bedrooms with three bathrooms so there is plenty of space for you and your guests. One bedroom is upstairs with the living room and kitchen and the other two bedrooms are located downstairs. Still maintaining it's rustic cabin charm the decks are amazing and a beautiful place to eat, drink and enjoy the tranquility of the Redwoods.
