A peaceful break

We have stayed in this apartment in this lovely garden several times. It is a convenient location from which to visit many sites in Normandy. The hosts are so charming. We always enjoy our visit here!

Peace and Tranquility

We both thoroughly enjoyed our stay, in these quite unique surroundings. Our hosts were fabulous and friendly towards us. Everything was done professionally and we enjoyed a great experience. The gite and surrounding gardens were stunning. Would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a chilled out break. Would revisit.

Garden paradise

Absolutely the place to be if you enjoy hearing birds and smelling the acres of trees and flowers. Your concerns and cares will simply disappear as you kick back on your terrace and survey your own private little paradise lovingly created and maintained by your excellent hosts Armelle and Michel. They are friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and sensitive to your time and privacy. Really enjoyed our time and appreciated their enormous patience with my lack of French! Regardless, communication was always made and they ensured our stay a memorable one. An excellent property for sure.

Welcoming, comfortable and clean place, peaceful rural setting, lovely garden, considerate hosts

Had a great week at this property, which is in a peaceful location surrounded by the beautiful garden of Armelle and Michel's home. They were helpful and considerate hosts, and Armelle provided us with fresh flowers and home produce from her garden. It is in a rural area with farms and fruit orchards and lots of pretty thatched cottages, but is also just across the bridge from the town of Caudebec-en-Caux. We used the bikes to cycle to Jumierge and visit the Abbey there. The cycle trip included a ride on one of the numerous (free) ferries across the Seine. There are several abbeys, chateaux and villages to visit in the area and it is about an hour's drive to Monet's stunning gardens at Giverny. Would recommend this property.

Wir waren eine Woche bei Armelle und Michel. Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Armelle und Michel sind wundervolle Gastgeber. Sie sind super freundlich und haben uns sehr gute Tipps gegeben. Die Wohnung liegt in einem traumhaften Garten, der sehr liebevoll von den beiden selbst gestaltet wurde und zur Erholung einlädt. Wir wurden mit Früchten aus dem schönen Garten empfangen und verwöhnt. Die Wohnung liegt ganz in der Nähe der Seine. Von hier aus hat man einen guten Startpunkt, um die Umgebung kennenzulernen. Honfleur, Jumièges und auch Rouen sind gut erreichbar. Die Seine lädt auch zu schönen Radtouren ein. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit bei Armelle und Michel und haben uns sehr willkommen gefühlt. Die Ferienwohnung ist ein kleines Paradies im Grünen mit einer großzügigen Terrasse, auf der wir uns gerne aufgehalten und gegessen haben. Alle Aspekte aus der Beschreibung trafen zu und Armelle hat uns viele Tipps aus der Region gegeben.Wir waren ein bisschen traurig, also wir abreisen mussten, aber es muss ja kein Abschied für immer sein :)

Perfecte locatie in een prachtige tuin. Gites iszeer compleet ingericht.

Hele lieve gastvrouw en heer. Staan wel voor je kkaar,zonder zich op te dringen. Zeer verzorgend! Je kunt goed merken dat ze het de gasten heel graag naar de zin maken. Alle dingen in huis zijn van hele goede kwaliteit. Hier spreekt liefde voor de gasten uit!

Erholsamer Urlaub in wunderbarer Natur.

Wir haben Natur gesucht und sind im Gartenparadies gelandet. Ein wunderbarer Ort zum Entspannen und relaxen. Die Seine ist ganz in der Nähe, so dass Radtouren entlang des Flusses zum Abschalten beigetragen haben. Armelle und Michelle waren charmante Gastgeber, sehr herzlich und mit Rat und Tat zur Seite, wenn wir dies wollten. Wir haben uns trotz des Anfang Mai eher kühlen und feuchten Wetters pudelwohl gefühlt. Wer möchte, erreicht interessante Ziele innerhalb 30- 60 min. Rouen ist eine wunderschöne Stadt, mit tollen Gebäuden und dem für uns beeindruckendem Janne d'Arc Museum. Wir haben uns gezielt auf die Spuren von Monet begeben und Fecamp, Honfleur ( love it)und Giverny besucht. Mit dem Rad erreicht man Klöster und Kirchen in der Umgebung und kann die kostenfreie Fähre über die Seine benutzen. Wer mehr Geschichte möchte, besucht die Landungsstrände der Alliierten rund um das Städtchen Bayeux oder eines der vielen Museen in Rouen. Es gibt je nach Gusto viel zu entdecken. Mit dem Rad sieht man die wunderbaren Reetdachhäuser mit den Schwertlilien auf den Dächern oder die vielen Viehweiden und Obstplantagen. Alles in allem ein Urlaub zur vollen Zufriedenheit. Rust en ruimte

De cottage ligt in een prachtige tuin waar je heerlijk kunt rondwandelen. De eigenaren zijn ontzettend behulpzaam en gastvrij. De ligging zo dichtbij de Seine is geweldig. Genoeg te zien en te wandelen in de omgeving.

Maisonnette nichée dans un jardin paradisiaque

Nous avons été très bien accueillies par nos hôtes qui nous ont réservé un petit goûter à notre arrivée. Ils ont toujours été là quand nous avions des questions ou des conseils pour des visites alentour. Je recommande cette petite maison au calme dans un jardin magnifique.

Idyllisch

Es hat einfach alles gestimmt. Eine mit Blumen geschmückte Ferienwohnung, ein ganz besonderer, romantischer Garten, der zum Seele baumeln lassen und Erholen einlädt und eine herzliche Gastgeberin, die uns mit Köstlichkeiten aus ihrem Garten verwöhnte. Wir haben unseren Urlaub in dieser schönen Umgebung sehr genossen und empfehlen die Ferienwohnung gern weiter.
