Had a fantastic time in Rio. The Apartment is just as it is represented in the pictures and the neighborhood could not be better. 24 hr. door man is a plus. The owners were very friendly and very helpful as well. Would 100% recommend this to anyone considering a stay in Rio. We were down there for the Olympics and this apartment could not have worked out better. 2 min. walk from the beach and close to plenty of nightlife and top notch restaurants. Cannot wait to go back.

A estadia foi maravilhosa. Tivemos uma ótima recepção da Te. O apartamento é pequeno mas completo e perfeito para até 4 pessoas. Possui uma ótima localização, muito arejado, e um silêncio que vem do jardim. Só temos a agradecer pelos ótimos momentos que vivemos no apartamento.

Piece of advices : from the airport take a prepaid cab. Cab's agencies are located in front of the exit after the last custom's checkpoint.
You'll find every transports facilities in the flat area, especially the subway station of square General Osorio.
Ipanema's neighbourhood is one of the most full of life in Rio de Janeiro.
The apartment is in direct proximity, five minutes of walk, to general Osorio square where you can find any number of typical restaurant. Every Sunday the Hippy market takes place. During carnival it's also one the departure point of "blocos" like the "Ipanema's banda".
Along Visconde de Piraja's street you'll find all kinds of shops and restaurants.
On the beach many activities are proposed like beach volley, beach soccer, surfing, kite surfing, or bikes. You can also just enjoy the white sand's beach and the ocean. Kids have also their own area with adapted games. Life goes on by night with all the bars along the promenade, and it still possible to play soccer, beach volley and surf after dark !
You can also enjoy the sunset at Arpoador, a magical moment.
New year eve, fireworks are played on the beach.
Every Sunday the cars are banished along the beach's promenade.
