Built in 1830, the castle is part of a property that has not changed family for 200 years. This is a cozy family home and has been preserved throughout the generations.
The region is one of the sunniest in France and famous for its beaches and the islands of Ré and Oléron.
Area of old traditions, notable for its architecture with its beautiful cities of La Rochelle, Rochefort, Saintes and St Jean d'Angely, Romanesque churches lost in the countryside and small villages built with local white stones.
Culinary tradition with oysters, the famous butter of the region, cheeses. And the world famous Cognac!
