B&B "Lilas" - SARLAT LA CANEDA - PERIGORD NOIR

Just 5 minutes by car from the medieval city of Sarlat, the Bed and Breakfast of Font Margout occupies a central position between the Dordogne valley and its castles, and the Vézère valley known to be one of the cradles of the 'Humanity.

This beautiful Périgord house named "Font Margout" has been run with warmth and good humor by Catherine and Pierre for over twenty years.

You will enjoy a pretty flowered park, a well-equipped independent kitchen (for stays of 48 hours minimum - to be shared with the other rooms), a breakfast served by your hosts every morning, and expert advice. of visits and discovery of an astonishing region.

The Lilas room is a room on the ground floor with independent entrance, for two people.

It contains :
- A double bed
- A wardrobe and storage
- A TV
- A small fridge
- A private shower room & WC
- An equipped kitchen, available to our visitors, overlooking the park.
* Possibility of adding on request a single extra bed for a 3rd person (supplement of 20 euros/night).

* For large families or groups of friends, we also offer another room for 2 to 3 people, as well as a family room on the first floor of the family house, consisting of two rooms and bathroom-wc, which can receive up to 5 people.

Our little PLUS: We provide our customers staying for more than 48 hours with an independent and fully equipped kitchen. (see photos)

Lovely way to see Sarlat and at the same time to enjoy the peace and calm of the surrounding countryside, hosted by delightful, friendly and helpful Madame Lachaud.

Located in an excellent area, close to Sarlat. The bathroom is ok. No soap or shower gel was provided. The bed was good but I would replace the pillows with two instead of one big one. The downside was the shared kitchen and how you need to go outside to get to it. The breakfast was only bread and croissants.

We spend four days and the place is very quiet and nice. It has a nice garden but unfortunately was not possible to enjoy due to millions of mosquitos. The house is some Km away from the city so you need the car to go everywhere (i think that was indicated in the info so no surprise here).The bathroom was not so comfortable with a small shower. And the entrance to the room smell humid, probably because it is so close to a superb garden. The room was clean and fine. The place was super quiet, which was very important for us. The bed is big and comfortable. With the host everything as fine, ver nice and helpful. Our stay was overall good.

Très agréable séjour chez des hôtes très conviviaux.l espace cuisine partagée très appréciable. L'emplacement au top , proche de Sarlat loin de la foule ! Le jardin/ parc pour se ressourcer, très plaisant. Et puis, on s'est fait un nouvel ami. Le coq! Je recommande sans hésitation.

Séjour de charme à Sarlat

Nous avons été accueillis chaleureusement à notre arrivée. Présence très discrète de notre Hote ; nous avons pu discuter avec eux ainsi qu’avec les autres locataires , ce fut trés agréable. L'annonce telle qu'elle était sur le site nous présentait un logement avec deux chambres , ce qui n'était le cas. A première vue, ce n'était pas la première fois que cela se produisait, nous en avons conclu que l'annonce n'était pas claire. Sur le site, l'entête dit " Maison d'hôtes (couchage 3 personnes) 16 m2, 2 chambres, 6 salles de bain, ce qui n'est pas cohérent. Ceci étant, les propriétaires nous ont trouvé une solution de remplacement qui nous convenait.

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans ce gîte parfaitement tenu et très bien situé. Nos avons pu disposer d’une cuisine et d’une belle terrasse, ainsi que du jardin avec des jeux pour enfants de tous âges .. le petit de jeuner est servi tous les matins ce qui est très appréciable ! Séjour près de Sarlat

Bonne impression générale. Un tout petit bémol sur le petit déjeuner (pain sans saveur aucune et croissant "de grande distribution"). En revanche, chambre propre, parc agréable avec poules, poulets, beau coq chantant sans oublier Chaussettes, le chat qui tendait la patte pour avoir du frichti :-) Bon accueil et très bons conseils touristiques. Gemütlicher Urlaub auf dem Bauernhof

Es war keine FeWo, sondern ein Zimmer mit Bad und Gemeinschaftsküche. Sehr freundliche Gastgeber, die sich um ihre Gäste kümmern. Ein bisschen Kofort, Z. B. Liegestühl oder Sitzkissen für die Terrassenstühle wären richtig gut.
