Leucadia/Encinitas is one of the last true surf towns in Southern California with a mix of old and new world charm. It boasts plenty of boutiques, shops, restaurants, and coffee and surf shops. We have a rich art community and classic surf shops mixed with great local taco shops and modern spaces to enjoy food and drink. There are plenty of great local hot spots including: the Pannikin, which transformed the old Santa Fe Railroad station, built in 1888, into a local coffee hot spot with plenty of character and great treats. If you want something within walking distance, the Bar Leucadian is a great venue for live music or a round of pool and is considered a local establishment since 1946. Down Highway 101 you will find Old Encinitas a couple miles away with a plethora of nice bars, restaurants and things to do including the Seaside Bazaar that is held every weekend morning. You can also find some amazing golf courses a short drive away, along with world renowned Balboa Park and world famous San Diego Zoo all within a 30 minute drive. For the kids, Disneyland is only an hour away and Legoland several miles. Close to the beach and easy access to the freeway, this house is ideally located for beach bumming as well as local venturing. We are also right next to the Batiquitos Lagoon, where you can view amazing wildlife in one of the few remaining tidal wetland nature reserves in the southern California. This bird sanctuary is an amazing sight along with the white water view of the blue Pacific Ocean.

Every space is neatly decorated with comfortable furniture and accessories. You'll find fresh linens, beach towels, toiletries, and even spices, in case you wish to cook that tasty meal while enjoying the beautiful views and sunset over the Pacific.
This 4400 square foot home has spectacular ocean white water and lagoon views. Along with the large balconies attached to the 3 upstairs bedrooms, the view will be sure to take your breath away. The interior has travertine and carpeted floors throughout, 4 bedrooms each with its own full bath. 5th bedroom with twin bunks with pull out trundle. On main floor,there is a 1/2 bath, a formal dining room, a gourmet kitchen and much more. There are 3 big screen TV's, DVD players, internet access, Wifi and cable. Outside you will find a nice tranquil custom garden with paths, fire pit, gas BBQ, shower area for after the beach, and many different varieties of fruit trees and herbs for cooking.
The gourmet kitchen has 3 sinks, 2 ovens, a 6 burner gas cook-top with griddle, microwave, toaster, 2 dishwashers, and an oversized refrigerator, so cooking your favorite meal or entertaining won't be a problem. We have 4 different dining tables to choose from including a formal dining room , a casual granite gather height table for 4, a casual solid Mango table for 8, and a large outdoor table for when you want to enjoy the beautiful weather.
