Nice, clean and well maintained small cottage

Nice welcome by the father of the owner who only spoke Spanish, but that wasn't a problem. Clean house, exactly like the pictures on the internet. Far (25 minutes) away from civilisation, fantastic "private" natural pool with waterfall at a 10 minutes drive. Only remark is regard to the small (1.40 m) beds and no ventilators in the house which made it (espacially at night) very warm.

Traditionele maar gerenoveerde woning met eigen patio in mooi natuurgebied

Het huis ligt in een verlaten dorpje waar de nakomelingen langzamerhand de oude stenen huizen van hun grootouders opknappen. Vanuit het dorp zijn er meerdere wandelpaden naar rivierpoelen en Romaanse kerkjes. In mei een al al bloeiende planten zoals klaprozen. Het uitzicht op de Pyreneeën is prachtig. De wandelingen daar zijn binnen 1-1,5 uur te bereiken en de wandelingen in de Siërra de Guara vanaf 30- 45 minuten. Boodschappen beter vooraf doen. In de keuken vind je alles om zelf te koken.

Dear alberto and vicente, We had a wonderfull stay at your place in mondot. It's a nice and quiet place to be and enjoy the peace fullness after a year at work. About the house: all you need for a stay is available, the house is very clean. WiFi was functioning very good. Just a remark on the bed: for two persoons iT is a little bit to small. I would not recommend your house for young people who love to do lots of activities and maybe go out in the evening. Mondot is too far away from all that. Elderly people and nature lovers on the contrary will love to be there. But most of all we enjoyed the great welcome we received! You and your father are great people. We are still eating the tomatoes we received from you. Hope to see you again. Kind regards Maria

tranquil and rural

choose this rural retreat as a break away from it all! despite the 25 minute journey to the nearest supermarket - plan shopping trips around days out - we had a fantastic stay! this cottage is very comfortable and as the sun went down we could enjoy the patio and watch the bats come and go. we even had a nesting bird who we called Mildred and her two babies Ant and Dec. it was very hot when we stayed and unfortunately the area was plagued a little flies which seemed to be obsessed with our English skin. lovely bathroom, powerful shower, decent towels. only negative is the washing machine uses a hot water feed! not sure how constant use would effect clothes and I think the dishwasher mentioned in the details is the sink! lovely little kitchen with enough equipment to make simple food! this is a holiday and you don't want to cook! lovely hospitality and welcome from the owner and his son.

"Werkelijk een stukje par...

"Werkelijk een stukje paradijs op aarde voor mensen die graag buiten de toeristische centra verblijven. De eigenaar is bijzonder vriendelijk en het huisje is zeer smaakvol.Echt een aanrader!!!Een tip, navigeer vanaf Ainsa niet via de een navigatie systeem maar met de kaart. Ainsa, Barbastro afslag La Mata, Olson en Mondot. je navigatiesysteem herkent een gedeelte van deze weg niet! Dichtsbijzijnde vers brood is op de camping van Meson La Cinqa en anders in Ainsa."

"Le gite de Mondot est un...

"Le gite de Mondot est une très bonne adresse pour un séjour dans cette magnifique région aragonnaise. Le gite est très joli, très bien restauré et équipé, mais aussi très calme, car dans un hameau pratiquement inhabité. La cour privée permet de prendre des petits déjeuners en plein air. Les épais murs de pierre permettent de passer des nuits agréables malgré la chaleur.Les propriétaires sont extrêmement accueillants et donnent de très bons conseils touristiques. A proximité on trouve des "rio" pour de très agréables baignades et la Sierra de Guara n''est vraiment pas loin...Il faut juste bien s''organiser pour les courses, car on est un peu loin des commerces, mais c''est le prix à payer pour le calme et les beaux paysages environnant. "
