Beautiful chalet in gorgeous area

We had a wonderful time in this charming Chalet.The kitchen is spaceous and very well equipped. Especially the big dining table was perfect for our 7-people -group. Hikingtours to the Lac de Chavonnes and Col de la croix are starting directly in La Forclaz. A daytrip to Montreux and good wifi were the highlights our teenage daughters. Very easygoing check-in and check-out.

Authentic and cozy chalet in a beautiful environment

Overall we spent a really nice week in Bibi's house. The chalet is authentic and cozy. It was enough space for 10 people (4 adults, 6 kids) The location is great. amazing nature around, close to skiing areas in Les Diablerets and Laysin. The communication with Bibi was easy and comfortable. What you have to be aware of is the fact, that it is actually not a single chalet but more half of a full house.

Le chalet, véritable maison habitée et qui n'est donc pas une location ordinaire insipide.Nous n'avons pas croisé la propriétaire mais celle-ci s'est révélée très attentive à notre confort à travers des marques d'accueil et une libéralité sur notre heure d'arrivée. Les échanges électroniques qui ont entouré cette location ont été très simples et courtois.

Chalet Non conforme à l’annonce ! Les chambres sont toutes à l’étage il y a deux chambres en haut sur le coter d’une d’elle un lit superposé et une mezzanine ou ce cogner la tête est fréquent . Nous sommes arrivée dans un lieux tout sauf touristique. Avec des habitants qui était exaspéré de trouver des vacanciers dans leurs quartiers. Les place de parking ce trouve à l’entré du village ,l’accès au chalet ce trouve après avoir gravi une côte glissante avec les bagages et enfants tout sauf idéal !! Le chalet était remplis de toiles d’araignée de poussière et autres saletés ! L’électricité était tout sauf au normes nous avons eu d’innombrables coupures de courant ! Plus d’eau chaude après 3 douches. Les piste de ski n’était pas ouverte pas moyens de faire de la luge non plus tout était fermer car c’est un village associatif et c’est eux qui décides quand ouvre les stations. Pas de patinoire non plus nous sommes arrivés le 21 et reparti le 26 après Noël nous devions rester jusqu’au 28 mais vu le désastre de ce chalet nous avons préféré partir!!! Si 0 étoile existait je l’aurais mis

Adorable chalet d'époque dans un très bel environnement

Nous avons passé un très beau séjour dans ce joli chalet d'époque plein de vie et d'atmosphère situé dans un village protégé. Le jardin est très agréable et la cuisine bien équipée. Nous avons pu faire de très jolies randonnées dans les environs : au massif de la Berneuse, au lac de Chavonnes, au lac Retaud et au col des Anderets face au massif des Diablerets, ... Que de beaux souvenirs !

Schönes Haus, schöner Ort

Das Haus ist wirklich toll. Ein altes Schweizer Holzhaus. Echt urig. Nicht so toll ist die Belegung mit mehr als ca. 5 Personen, da die Schlafzimmer doch sehr eingeschränkt sind. Alles in allem aber ein schönes Haus.

Ruhe und Natur pur

Die Küche ist super ausgestattet, wir haben irgendwann alles gefunden :) hatten viel Spaß und eine gute Familienzeit. Ich glaube nur im Winter wäre es mir zu kalt.

Le descriptif du chalet ne correspond pas à la réalité. Le rapport qualité prix n’est pas adéquat.

Chalet poussiéreux et certaines parties sales. Problèmes d’écoulement. Certaines chambres ne correspondent pas à ce que l’on attend. La publicité parle d’un chalet de luxe alors que nous sommes bien loin de cette notion. Matériel vieux, couettes tachées, etc. Nous avons l’impression d’avoir été trompé et nous demandons un remboursement de 20% du montant de location.

Je suis vraiment désolé que vous ayez été si déçu. Pour moi, il est très important que les clients profitent d'un chalet de 1729 adapté à tout le confort de cette époque. Je ne vais pas être sur la défensive car je peux dire le contraire sur tous les points. nous ne sommes clairement pas d'accord sur ce que nous entendons par luxe.

Gemütliches historisches Chalet

Liebevoll und mit viel Geschmack und Details renoviertes historisches Chalet. Lage abgelegen in einem schönen alten Dörfchen abseits der Touristenströme und in wunderschöner Berglandschaft. 3 gute Skigebiete per Auto problemlos erreichbar. Einkaufen nur auswärts, also etwas Vorrat mitnehmen ( und Schneeketten). Wer es ruhig und gemütlich mag ist hier bestens aufgehoben. Von den 4 Schlafräumen haben nur 2 Türen, 2 nur Vorhänge zum Abtrennen, daher eher für Kinder geeignet. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und die charmante urige Atmosphäre des Hauses und Dorfes genossen. Vielen Dank!!! Sicher auch im Sommer eine sehr schöne Destination! Der Sitzplatz hinter dem Haus in der Sonne war auch im Winter top!

Séjour dans un très bel environnement

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans ce magnifique chalet d’époque les petits soucis au niveau électrique (disjonction du compteur) et une fuite d’eau le dernier jour ne nous ont pas empêché de profiter de ce magnifique environnement et l’aide de la gérante extrêmement gentille et disponible a été très bien appréciée

Urige Hütte für viel Ruhe

Eine sehr gemütliche Hütte. Wir waren zwei Familien mit insgesamt 5 Kindern und hatten ausreichend Platz. Es gab auch Schlitten im Keller die wir dann auch ausgiebig auf dem Schlittenhügel im Ort genutzt haben. Für jemanden der Ruhe und Abgeschiedenheit mag ein Traum.

This place has so much character. It's so cozy. We were there in the spring when there was still a lot of snow on the mountains while down in the valley it almost felt like summer. Outside of the house there is an amazing view of the mountain range and a little creek running down just in front of the house. It's a real romantic place but also one that our kids enjoyed very much. It was fantastic in the cold using the nice fireplace between the kitchen and the living room. I could imagine that it would be very nice in the spring or summer as well. la Forclaz is a very small and quiet mountain village with very friendly natives. It's the perfect place to just get away and relax.
