Great location at a great mountain. The rental had everything you would need, It was clean and the check in and check out were easy. Just park the car and there's no need to leave until check out.
We stayed at this property once before in 2023. We love the location, convenience, amenities, and the fireplace. It is a wonderful place to spend a few days skiing and eating out.
Great location for ski-in/ ski-out at Pico and close to Killington. The place had everything we needed for a ski weekend. The listing mentioned a hot tub, which we were disappointed to learn is no longer there. Otherwise, everything else was great and as described.

Pico Condo
Great location, you can see the Little Triple from the window, it's a 200 foot walk to the chair. As other reviews said this place is functional but needs a little updating and TLC. But it served our purpose which was a few days skiing. Walk out to ski Pico and Killington is a short drive. The lower rating was due to the incorrect listing info. Two items. It does say 2 bedrooms, but under beds, for the last bed, it says Bedroom #3 futon. This was a 5" poor pullout couch in the living room. We were expecting something better, I was trying to a void a pull out couch as most are poor and this one was.The 2nd is there is no hot tub and the pool, workout room and sauna are all at the fitness center for 17/Day/Person. They have family rates but still expensive. The listing infers it's included, it is not. But overall the place was nice and convenient.
Everything was as expected. It was a very clean and fully functional apartment. It has a great location, ample firewood supply, and real close to workout facility. First time using a service like VRBO so I was hoping for the best. Location is great…quick access to slopes. Owner responds quickly to any questions you have.
The apartment was great - just what you need, where you need it. Ski in / ski out at Pico, or drive the 10 mins up to Killington.
Everything you need is provided for a lovely holiday.
Location of condo is awesome. Very short walk to Pico lifts. The condo itself needs updating and repairs particularly in the bathrooms. The drapery needs replacing/repairs. Because you are the slope, you will hear the snow blowers all night. The condo has everything you need to be comfortable and have an enjoyable stay. I found it expensive for what it is but that is the market and you are paying to be literally on the slope.
I previously only stayed off the Access Road and skied Killington for years. This condo gives views of the lifts at Pico and walking access to Pico base area. Pico mountain is a gem. It has great vertical and ski runs with character without the crowds. We skied Pico in the morning, did lunch at the condo, and then skied Killington in the afternoons. My 15 year old even got some solo morning runs at Pico when everyone else was sleeping in. The condo was super cozy and in good shape. Jon answered all of my questions. We also hit the Appalachian trail for some brief hiking in the snow, which is literally 2 seconds after you turn out of Pico with the trailhead on your right. You will have a wonderful stay if you book this place.
Communication with the renter was very good. The furniture was very comfortable and clean, Roku tv, fireplace, ski locker, etc. it was clear that the condo had been redecorated recently. It still needs some updating (peeling wallpaper, broken parts in dishwasher, balcony door that allowed wind to blow in). Overall, we had a great stay. We really liked the convenience of being near Killington without actually being in it. We spent the last first 2 (very cold) days of our stay exploring the area while our young adult children skied Pico and were able to the condo for lunch and warm-up breaks. For the last 2 days of our stay, we dropped the “kids” at Killington K1 lodge and then found places to cross country ski and snowshoe, which was perfect. Newbies to staying by a ski slope (like us) may be surprised to have the sound of snowmaking outside their bedroom all night, although that probably depends on conditions.
I’m a travel nurse and rented this unit for approximately 3 months. It was the off season, so it was very quiet. We did get some snow my last week and the sidewalks were well maintained. I would stay here again in the future.
This condo is in the perfect location. Views of the chairlift. Plenty of room for a family of 4. Ski locker right outside makes things super easy. Washer and dryer come in handy.
Condo was ski-in/ski-out for Pico Mountain. Pico is smaller mountain for Vermont. Great for us as intermediate skier/snowboarders, but small and older compared to Killington/Okemo. Weather was iffy so the Pico trials were limited but Killington was half-open and only about 20 minutes away. There’s even a shuttle that runs regularly.
As for the condo, it was nice and clean. Perfect for a family of 4. Two bathrooms were a huge plus. Same with the washer-drier. Bring your detergent and paper products, tho - wasn’t much on-site when we arrived. Easy parking and walk-up. Storage for skis right at the front door. Fitness center across the parking lot with a pool. $15/day for a guest pass, tho - which was a bit much — but still a nice option, especially if the weather doesn’t cooperate for skiing. Lots of good dining and parks for walking the dog.
Overall, would definitely recommend!
Great experience in this Pico condo.
Perfect location right at the base of Pico with good views of the mountain.
Killington lifts only a 10 minute easy drive away.
Jon was a great host, communicative and flexible.
The condo was cozy, with a small wood burning fireplace, and a fully stocked kitchen. Great to be able to bring along our small lab.
I’d love to come visit again.
This was perfect place for my husband, 2 daughter’s and one of their partners to stay for ski vacation and to see the World Cup. There were no issues and everything about our stay was uncomplicated. Directions on location, entry and stay were spot on and simple. We had a wonderful time and if ever we return to Killington we will seek out the same property.
