An amazing tranquil delight

The property and gardens are stunning. Hidden away but close to local amenities. A beautiful pool area and many tranquil spots in the garden to relax in, plus table tennis and petanque for the more active in our group! The house is very well equipped. A beautiful home from home.

Rustic charm

This is a lovely property in a beautiful setting. If you like rustic charm with lots of homely touches, this will suit you. If you prefer modern, in mint condition this is probably not for you. Easy 5 minute drive to Montpellier, a beautiful city, but beaches are a good 25 minute drive away. We had a lovely stay but a few minor points tainted it. Firstly, the villa information states that you are ‘prohibited from wearing creams and oils in the pool’. This unrealistic and unsafe in temperatures of 35 degrees. I would suggest they accept people will wear cream and get their pool cleaned more than once a week. There are 6 sunbeds but only 3 of them have cushions. This was pointed out to the villa owner but no action was taken. The bath towels provided were small and very thin - at this price, I’d expect a better quality. It would have helpful to have some information on the local area provided in English. The air conditioning units were not particularly efficient unfortunately these could not be looked at until after we had left. As stated, these are relatively minor points and sorting them out would take my overall rating from 4 star to 5 star.

Hello Julia, As explained by telephone, the 7 air conditioners are new and very high quality. I am very sorry that you did not know how to use them, I should have provided instructions for use. The installer came by Monday and they are working perfectly. (he does not work Saturday and Sunday). The pool deck chairs are made of soft canvas, to be used without mattresses. Yes, we recommend showering before swimming because the oils clog the water line. As for the swimming pool, it is automatically cleaned 24 hours a day. For the towels, knowing this, I would have had others brought as quickly as possible! Kind regards.

Das Haus ist ein Traum, großer Pool, Tischtennis inklusive Kellen, Boule, viele Sitzgelegenheiten, absolut ruhige Lage nahe der Altstadt. In der Küche ist alles vorhanden bis hin zum Korkenzieher. Gasgrill auf der Terrasse. Zum Strand mit dem Auto ca 30 Minuten.

Idéalement située, proche du cœur de Montpellier, la villa possède tout ce que l'on peut rechercher pour passer un agréable séjour. Le lieu est très bien entretenu et adapté aux enfants comme aux adultes: immense jardin, piscine sécurisée..... Nous nous sommes régalés et espérons renouveler l'expérience prochainement. Un grand merci aux propriétaires pour leur accueil chaleureux et leur disponibilité.
